The answer is SIMPLE! MOVE!! This summer crappie fishing tip is going to put more crappie in the boat for you. One of the questions I get asked the most is, "Where do crappie go in the summer", and the answer to that is deeper water, and that usually means on timber and or brush piles. #903 Thank for all the lessons in crappie fishing, especially bank fishing. I'm very limited where I can fish due to being partially disabled and ofc not being a boat owner, so when I do go out it's nice to have the education before hand. Saved my money and bought the 6'6" Acc one piece, with the 10 lb braid and 12 lb leader, slip bobber double jig setup, all based on your videos. The only thing I added was the fish around here get more aggressive with power bait crappie nuggets added to the jig. I've got one location that I can take my minnow hook throw just two nuggets on the hook, no plastics and catch them. Anyways thank you Sir, I know your working your passion, allowing me to find some happiness in my day. Appreciate you man!!

I almost missed out on this one, glad to see you put a few in the boat. Sunday I was visiting out of town and I realized I had to get home for the live show and I was yelling at folks and plowing my horn to get home and there was no show, then I felt bad about the people I was rude to. #903 as someone from down in New Zealand, we don't have much in the way of freshwater here apart from trout, so it's always amazing to see guys like yourself with all these tips for the freshwaster catches over there, might have to head over to the states and chase some Crappie at some point!

#903 What weights choice for structure fishing vs trolling? I'm new to this and wondering,I see jig hooks,reg hooks and sickle hooks. What's right from wrong if any?
Well I don’t know many people who troll for crappie in Texas. Way too much structure and timber in the water for all that. I use eagle claw Aberdeen hooks. 2/0 for my crappie. Now if I am slip corking with a jig I use 1/8th and 1/16th oz jig heads with usually number 4 hooks. Hopefully that helped you out brother! Thanks for watching! God bless

#903 This Texas heat is for real. I fished Lake Bob Sandlin and Lake Cypress this weekend. I done good on both lakes with jigs. There sure was a lot of traffic on the lake, being the Holiday weekend and all. What I have noticed on these brush piles is to work them crappie from the top down. Seems like before I leave I am low on the pile. I do agree, just because the fish is there, don't mean they will bite. If they aint biting, move and find some that are.

I fished a a lot at cedar creek reservoir when it was a brand new lake and we weee catching monster crappie before there was a number limit on them. Those weee the good ol’ days of fishing. I was a terrible fisherman and I’ve watched other UA-camr’s videos that just didn’t work for me, so I’m grateful your a Christian like I am and also all the tips & advice you give all your subscribers, truly a blessing. Now with all of that said my question to you is do you have your transducer attached to you thrust motor? I just bought a 12’ Garmin Live Scope and need to set this up properly I will take any advise you can give me thanks.

I bank fish 90% of the time here in Louisiana. It's the slowest time of the year for me to catch sacs/crappie. My go-to lake is a nice size neneighborhood lake, and during this season, I rarely find them. I fan fish but haven't connected with any, any advice is appreciated C!! I also use the slip bobber. 🎣
My advice would be to do just that. Fan cast, with double jig rig? Move those depths around. Thanks for watching! God bless

Do normally just use a cooler with ice instead of your livewell in the summer..did u notice the meat going bad was the reasoning for using a cooler #903Fishing
Honestly, that livewell sucks man. The aerator system is old. It’s a 1999 bass tracker. Putting them on ice will keep the meat more fresh. Thanks for watching and the support! God bless
