- In this video, I show you a must have for crappie fishing. Buoy markers are essential when it comes to brush pile crappie fishing, I give you those reasons in this video. If you are crappie fishing any type of structure and you do not have livescope to keep an eye on that structure, I highly suggest to get you some buoy markers. They are cheap, and last a long time! This video is great for beginner crappie fisherman and will teach you the importance of a simple buoy marker. Crappie fishing Texas is known for brush pile crappie fishing. Your videos ALWAYS teach me something! I've fished many many years, but never was very 'good' at catching crappie. The tips of using the electronics and these simple bouy markers are awesome! One came with my boat but I didn't even know what it was until recently, and didn't know what to do with it. Seeing a structure you're interested in, bouy-ing its general area, and then pinpointing it by trolling is a fantastic tip! An additional extra was also seeing how you thread the minnows in a way I've never seen anyone do, and which I'll be doing next time out!

No. There was 2 brush piles in this video. At the start. I marked both with buoys, I just had threw one late, because I was holding camera, driving boat and had to throw the buoy lol thanks for watching! God bless

The fish finder on the console is a Humminbird helix 7, mega down and mega side imaging ($750) and the one on the front trolling motor is the same fish finder expect it only has mega down imaging ($550)

Why the 1000 model for the reel size? I bought the 2000 a year or two ago just cause it color matched my acc 6’6”.
2000 is way to big in my opinion. 2000 doesn’t balance very well. The 1000 does, 1000 is the highest I would go any rod 8’ and up. Thanks for watching! God bless
