Threading your minnows like that do they last long or the same as in the back
I state in the video I have caught up to 4 crappie on 1 minnow. Doesn’t happen with every minnow. But it’s possible. I appreciate you for watching! God bless!

I went today and the only way I could get them to bite was a small trout hook, minnows, tiny weight. Very light presentation. I tried jigs with no luck and I tried slip bobbers with no luck. This was also a heavily fished lake and I was the only person catching.

Nice crappie. Where is the slip cork rig? We can't use live bait here and if I was caught with 25 crappie, they would have me in jail for a looong time.
Go to my channel and go to the “how to” vidoes. How I rig my slip cork set up is there, I have made a couple minor adjustments but that’s it. The limit in Texas is 25 per person per day. So it’s all good lol you can use that with slip cork and jig as well. Thanks for watching! God bless

What is your slip cork setup, do you use the little green strings? I’m not that familiar with slip corking

Sadly There's nothing around me for 20 miles that sell Bait fish and the only fresh water is like a desert (flat with no real depth or structure) :( It does have couple creek channels so maybe there is hope. However the channels are heavily traveled

Do you idle over the spots to see if they’re there? I’m in AL and just tried this technique for the first time last week. I rode around for an hour looking for fish over structure before I went back to vertical jigging bridges lol

@@903fishing I mostly fish sardis lake ms and sometimes grenada. They hold good on cypress trees and small brush during the spawn their its a good time.
But how do you catch Crappie in the summer when you don't have a boat?
I will be honest with you brother. It will be very difficult to catch crappie from the summer from the bank. Crappie are deep right now and will sometimes be even deeper in the winter. So being able to fish that deep from the bank is very unusual. A few crappie will go in the creeks to chase shad in the winter. That is when I start hitting the creeks! I do have a few on my channel. Check it out!

Yes sir that’s exactly what I do. That’s how I start. Try to float that minnow just over the top. Try to target the fish shallower and work your way deeper! Thanks for watching and the support! God bless
