- support: has to consolidate with a lot of volume
- most short squeezes happen on first green day. it is usually bullish & hard to short into.
- usually first green day. if 2nd day is red, price usually goes back to support.
- if support is strong, tight range and lots of volume, it usually flips double it's price when it breaks out. (also smaller mkt cap = higher it will go. 100M mkt cap is very small)
- more trades in support area = higher winning percentage from buying in that support
- if stock is on uptrending momentum, performs a b/o and goes parabolic in afterhours into 2nd green day, memorize that if mkt cap was small from the beginning, you have greater potential to get more reward by dipbuying or buying b/o from consol area
dipbuying strategies from support:
- faster the drop, more likely the stock tends to bounce from major support.
- eg if drop happens within 30min-1hr = you can dipbuy. if it is gradually fading back down, don't dipbuy.

thanks for the video. It would be helpful to know what price you bought and sold at. Also for the dip bounce opportunity - it sounds like you did not buy the dip bounce on this stock since it really just faded and did not have a quick drop like GME right?

Don’t really understand.. at which volume spike do you know that this price is a strong support?
Evertime I buy a stock thinking it reached support and won't dip any lower, it literally tanks more after I buy it and then I'm forced to bag hold it forever or sell at a huge loss -__-

So in summary if stock drops extremely fast it is more likely going to go up because people will buy it.?
This is a very good analysis Dux I use this strategy with the volume at each price showing on my charts to see the volume nodes. I think the moves size is more predictive using what I call the effective float versus market cap. Effective float is the shares outstanding to the public minus the institutional ownership, both those numbers you can get from finviz. I subtract out institutional shares because we don't know if they plan to hold longer term and only a few control a large number of shares so their shares are likely not part of the effective trading float unless they sell in which case we will only know if/when that shows up in the sec filings. GME has a 54M float but 95% institutional owned so it trades like a very low float small cap versus a 13.59B market cap..
One other thing I started tracking is the average size pullback during the high volume days when the low effective float stocks, say under 30 million, are trading high volume high float rotations. The data I have tracked shows intraday trend pullbacks are between 13% and max 20% but most common say 70% of the time is 15%. From the first 15% pullback to the HOD the average gain is 49%. You said before that you stay away from the high rotation stocks but try out data tracking with a new play in the playbook.....I call the play Massive vol continuation.

I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade backfires and slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?
Do you know the framework? Could you outline a first red day pattern, an abcd setup, or a multi day breakout pattern if i asked u to? If no, study the material. If yes, get some discipline.
