Biggest lesson i learnt this year in the trading market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and follow a strategy with a long term edge.
No one has all the answers. It's important to develop your own approach, take calculated risks, and stay committed to your plan. Learn from mistakes and keep growing.
Uncertainty... it took me 5 years to stop trying to predict what bout to happen in market based on charts studying, cause you never know. not having a mentor cost me 5 years of pain I learn to go we’re the market is wanting to go and keep it simple with discipline.

Stock picking is an effort in futility, particularly at an uncertain time such as this. My portfolio is still significant, about $320k, but I'm not confident about picking stocks anymore. Are there really no other options for me to gain from the stock market?
I’m sorry to hear that. It's hard to beat the market as an ordinary investor. You don't have access to information that professionals have. So it's just better if you invest with a professional who knows how things work better.
Picking stocks is a risky thing to do, particularly for non-professionals. I learnt that in 2020, when I lost almost everything. But I switched to using a financial advisor, who has better knowledge of the market than I do, and I've been returning at least $38k every month. Just too bad I didn't learn the lesson early on.

Investing in the stock market has HISTORICALLY provided higher returns than other forms of investment. According to Morningstar, the average annual return for the S&P 500 index, which measures the performance of 500 large-cap stocks, was approximately 10% from 1926 to 2020.
Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.

The truth is that this is really not as difficult as many people presume it to be. It requires a certain level of diligence, no doubt, which is something ordinary investors lack, and so a financial advisor often comes in very handy. My friend just pulled in more than $84k last month alone from his investment with his advisor. That is how people are able to make such huge profits in the market
My advisor is “Margaret Johnson Arndt”. She has since provide entry and exit points on the securities I focus on. You can look her up online if you care for supervision. I basically follow her trade pattern and haven’t regretted doing so

I’ve had majority of my holdings in tech stocks and I've had 25% increase in my portfolio, especially with Apple’s P/E (price to earnings ratio) but with much uncertainty now, my question is what stocks can be the next APPL in terms of growth for the next decade?
NVDA has been that company in 2023 but they grew so fast, their Market Cap has already surpassed $1T

I started my trading journey late 2021. I started off with 10+ indicators and it was just clutter. Over time I found myself slowly removing indicators 1 by 1. Right now, aside from volume, I have stochastic to help give confirmation with price action. Simpler the better!!

I started trading same year and my story was the same, I had lots of indicators on my screen. At a point I had 3 layers of indicators on and had just very little space for my chart. Then I had an exercise book, about 40 leaves I was writing down indicators and it got filled to the brim. But at a point started removing them all. Right now i don't use anything called indicator anymore, I hardly even use trend lines just pure naked chart and I'm loving it.

Yes, a good number of folks are raking in huge 6 figure gains in this downtrend, but such strategies are mostly successfully executed by folks with in depth market knowledge

I like to use 2 or 3 indicators on my charts. Heiken Ashi candles to visualize trends. A VWAP (volume weighted average price) indicator: look for sells when price is below vwap and/or vwap line is pointed down, the reverse for buys. And less importantly, an indicator to catch divergences. RSi or MFI etc will work for divergences. Howwever, I do agree that price action is the most important thing to watch. Just observing the fluctuations in an individual Heiken Ashi candle can give you a real-time clue about short-term price movements, especially if those flucuations are in keeping with the current market trend.

Good one Umar. Keep it coming. I apply Elliot Wave principles andv take advantage of complex corrections breakouts for good risk to reward. I have stuck to it and has played out exactly. The volume info will surely add to the confluence because volume on breakout after consolidation is usually high.

I’m seven years in and trading is HARD. Thousands of hours. Don’t start this endeavor unless you’re ready for a long and challenging journey.

I have been paper trading since January and I started using a bunch of indicators, about two months ago I started pleasing support and resistance lines plus using Anchor VWAP to simplify my trading
Because of the reason you stated I use Wyckoff in my trading. Since it's the analysis between price action and volume. As you said once you find out that you don't need indicators and can only rely on pa and vol., a whole new world opens up for you from a trading perspective. Even many things that you teach I know already I still love to follow you. Since the content you put out is awesome. Wish you the best.

I concur 100% Umar. "Lagging" indicators will get you into just as much trouble as they get you out of. The reason why *volume & price-action* are the KING and the KEY and usually 95% reliable, if you learn to read them correctly, is because they aren't exactly indicators, as most people think of or define indicators... they are actually, instead, the direct immediate moment to moment event / phenomenon of trading action itself, unfolding right before your eyes.
If you are able to develop an innate hyperintuitive feel ~ accurately interpret what the volume and price action are telling you immediately ~ about second to second direction, trend, interest, energy, momentum, and sentiment, well, let's just say *check & mate.*

I finally find a person who talks sense ,leave behind all the indicators , simply trade❤ where I come from I can't have trade view , I hate candle sticks so i found me another way to trade which is by numbers . I calculate so much before entering and repeat it each 10 min to get a proper understanding where I stand today a yes go trade day or not

i coded an indicator that analyze volume on Tick time frame called on TV { Range Chart } compare the strength of amount of volume per 1 tick size on 500 tick size back and show that on higher timeframe .
how many volume needed to move 1 tick size up and how many to move price down and calculate that to a ratio and show that on 1m 5m timeframe that helps me a lot to detect traps and trade after them :)

I started off using indicators, many moons ago. I dropped them very quickly when they threw off conflicting signals. I’m much more comfortable working w/a more barebones chart…far less noise. However, I must concede that I may overlooked some of their potential. For instance, it seems as if the RSI could be useful to gauge extremes. I currently use the CNN Fear/Greed Index for that. Nothing magical about it, it just provides an overall sense of market sentiment (folks are downright giddy right now!).

Good stuff. Your videos are to the point and not full of a lot of misdirection like most. Volume is the supporting cast to the catalyst. I am finally throwing out all the old garbage I have been trading with (mostly winging it) and getting down to the basics with discipline and only trade with an edge on a trade worth taking rather than trying to force it. My education has been very expensive to this point but feel like I am at a point where I can actually feel like I have some control in a trade by following rules.
Great video.. I use SuperTrand and MACD indicator double time frame. And I look up volume up/down and price action searching for reversals. Then I also use ema 9 et 21 and wvap
I use tons of indicators and it really helps me,ie: in your charts you will need to have at least 1 momentum indicator,one lagging indicator ,one leading indicator,a trend indicator and volatility indicator. Combining these things will give you a hint to where the market is heading at that moment,I say it at that moment ,understand it carefully friends.
Now this is more stressful than learning price action itself

I’ve got news for you, price has to form first with everything including volume and price action or you wouldn’t have a chart. If you think indicators don’t work, you don’t understand how to use them and you don’t know when to use them. Price and volume are important and indicators a helpful tool to add to the arsenal
