This is quite possibly the most relateable running video. Real people. Real jobs. Real passion for running.
I needed this. ❤
I feel the same. Like everyone who watches this feels like I could run..at least a little.
If you're a runner, all I can say is that I don't know how you guys do this training day in day out!. I got serious to run a marathon a couple years ago. I have no "running experience" but I did play soccer as a kid and for some reason I could run fast and long even without training like at school. I trained hard for about 3-5 months and got down to running 5 minute miles. I was running 15 miles a day maybe more (2 hour runs to be exact) and It took a HUGE toll on my body. Finally got to the marathon and came in second in my age group and scored top 10 overall. I made a promise to myself I would never put my body through that torture again. I still run be very minimal. Respect to marathon runners though, that is a very tough sport!
The doctor is an inspiration not just to his wife, daughter and co-workers , but also to weekend and weekday warriors like myself. Whenever I feel like I can't fit in just two miles, I'm tapping into his universe.
It was an honor to have partnered with Bandit on this documentary series. It's going to be one for the ages
Wow man! Bandit made the right choice going with you!!
I would’ve clicked off faster than their mile times if this wasn’t shot with Chris Chu
You’re good mad respect
@@ShervinShares appreciate it, man. much love
Its like waiting for the next GOT episode. So exciting but not fun if you are as impatient as I am. I want all of it now! great piece!+
Dutiel is built different. Are you kidding me? The dude is unreal between all his commitments
For real. What an inspiration
This is an amazing series to see. Incredibly inspiring seeing normal people working jobs just like us that also find the time to be world class runners. Lots of times fitness influencers/creators can be un-motivating knowing that many of us don’t have the same time on our hands as they do.
This was an awesome video to watch. I’m an amateur runner chasing a goal of sub 15 for the 5k. I wake up at 4am to go on my runs and then i’m off to a physically demanding job for 8hrs, come home and help my wife cook and clean and take care of our two babies.
Sometimes it get’s hard to stay committed day after day but watching a video like this reminds me that there are other human beings doing the same.
Fuck yeah
+1 for the good guys. Great athletes better people
better ingredients. Papa John's.
Never heard of this channel before, really pleased it popped up, subscribed, great content and very inspiring, best wishes from UK
Coaching Duriel and working with him for the past year has been an absolute pleasure, he is one of the most committed athletes out there. Big inspiration!
Working professional is an understatement. MD and a OTQ athlete has me 😳🤯
You forgot to also add parent, my gosh, I find this man fantastic, true role model
Yeah pretty insane and so motivating. Here I am struggling to fit in 50 miles per week and I don't even have kids. This guy has made me rethink things lol
@@thru_and_thru ohhhh no kids?!??!? No excuses! 🤣🤣🤣
@@DP-sh3nk 😅
And he used to run at 4 am during medical residency. He is a machine.
Absolute peak running content
Absolutely loved this episode!!!
damn i would love to see a day in the life video of duriel. when does this man sleep? he's on the grind 24/7
Outstanding, inspirational to see how the world’s great athletes train, work in their career field and find some balance for family/friends.
Could you make a follow up video on what recovery techniques, day to day, and overall things, worked for you during these big training seasons? And which of these techniques you are still doing, even after relaxing on the high intensity training
this is so good
appreciate you stopping by
Thanks for this video! I recently started training for a half marathon (and an eventual marathon before the end of the year) and have been feeling that juggle to balance running, recovery, work, relationships, and school. Goes to show if you really want something, you'll make it work. Relevant and encouraging watch!
I love this series! As someone who is heading into their dietetic internship I was worrying about how I would balance running and school/work no I’m not a college-athlete anymore! These guys show IT IS POSSIBLE! I would love a couple of videos focusing on how they ensure to get enough/the right nutrition AND also another on how they recover even when they are working?
Great doc of some top guys! Tuned in for the next one
going to be such a great series! can’t wait for more!
absolute ⛽️ from the bandit creative team
Love it. Such a great video. These elite or sub-elite runners who still work hard everyday are so inspirational.
god i needed this please tons more on this I loved it so much I love to see a day in the life of each of the marathoners and they're training but like incredibly detailed for example more of the "I'm having some knee pain so I'm doing some ultrasounds" I am a huge running nerd so a detailed list of the different band exercises would be phenomenal but most importantly the 'WHY' they are doing all those things for their training and end it off why they are doing this marathon would be pretty cool,
if you can't tell I'm already taking notes and I would take more if I could :D
Great video! Keep them comming
Imminently likeable chaps! Good luck to them all at trials and in their life journeys.
Loved this. Keep them coming fammmmm!

Where are the women; next episode?
When they can be in the top 50
Absolutely. It is so sad how female runners are still overlooked when they are breaking world records. Would absolutely love a similar video to this featuring women!
Yes! The Bandit OTQ Women are in the NYC episode coming up. Can't wait for you to meet them.
@@banditrunning fantastic; looking forward to it!
So sorry do you drink coffee
all this training just to get smoked by kipchoge
U.S. standard needs to be lowered to sub 2:08!
lol
