This is my first comment to your videos. But I love them. Please keep them coming. I have had 4 trail bikes 25-30 years ago. Road bikes, Honda 500-4. Honda "750 Custom" 83 1100 Wing, and now a 89 1500. Im not new to bikes, but LOVE learning about the wing I have now. Thank you!

The battery tender cable end accessories are called a "sae connector" when you search for it.

Hello Scott, thanks for the video. I would keep hitting the edge of the windscreen on my helmet so I put door edge moulding on it. That helps to keep me aware of the edge of the windscreen and not bump my helmet on it. Have a great day.

I think your spot on about the wheel installation procedure. I added a SuperBrace to my 2016 and I had the same weird feel in my steering. After rereading the installation instructions I realized I forgot to bounce the wheel a few times on the floor step. Once I redid the install it was fine. I was turning into the gas station and it was resisting the turn. I knew something was definitely wrong. No problem now.

Another outstanding video to make me Smarter Every View.
While these discussion items have not yet visited upon me, I now have a expanding cataloged reference point to return to, should I need to review the details.
    THANKS SO MUCH SCOTT!

The time slowing down when in an accident is called Tachypsychia. The interesting thing is that after the accident, where time has slowed down, usually then time speeds up faster than normal, almost like it's trying to balance things out. All of a sudden it will seem that a few hours have passed.

Probably related to the resolution after the adrenalin has worn off. Interesting!

I’ve been watching all of your videos. I enjoy them. The one thing missing is you explaining how you took the looseness out of you throttle connection to the handle bars. You said you explained how to do it but I can’t find it. My 96 1500 has the same issue.
I’ve used your videos to change my timing belts, make my cornering light stay on all the time replaced all front light with LED and checked out how to fix the 80 mph limit on my cruse control. I haven finished the cruse control yet having trouble getting access to the connectors.
If you could give a quick description of fixing the throttle or a link to where it is I would appreciate it.
    Keep it up Scott.

These tips and advices are great, explanations are clear and concise…on tender socket I say make sure you incorporate an on/off switch.or one will drain the battery given its directly connected…🇬🇧👍

I was thinking the same thing about the power drain from battery. Surprised Scott missed that. He covers most things very well.

As far as your fight or flight explanation what happens is your brain will free up it's processing speed by changing modes from using a lot of memory based actions to more reactive RAM based actions so it can rapidly process this information quicker so you can respond at a faster rate.

Not sure I understand your logic of checking oil level. If a bike has been parked overnight or even days, has not all the oil migrated to the bottom? Would not wiping the dipstick and replacing it back (without screwing it in) be an accurate level reading under that condition? Thanks.

Here is a strange one........ When hot, sometimes my '91 GL1500 will start without compression almost like dieseling at shutoff but at start up. Is this intermittent condition normal on the GL1500 ? Enjoy your videos, BB in Germany.

      Part 2.....
This bike has 12Tkm and is "intermittently" using excessive oil. Trying to figure out if it's rings or valve guides. When mountain driving downhill (high back pressure) and get on throttle it will blow blue smoke. Compression is 180psi except 1 & 3 at 170 and 165 respectively. Pcv system problems ? Other ideas ?

I got a huge question that I hope you can help with; I just got a 76 gl1000 and iv been taking it apart and trying to fix it up. I took apart the right hand controlls and fixed the poor wiring that was on it, when I noticed my starter button was crumbled with age. I'm not sure if every part was left but my question is how can I put a new start button on it?

    • @christovollugo7745

Also how did the 76 starter button work? Like the ball on the top spring moving the contact plate between the 2 contacts? Thank you
