      New opener actually started on the previous video. :) I figured it was time, and I got tired of people messaging me about it! :)The Honda cleaner is amazing, I even used it to clean the keyboard on a synthesizer the other week!

    My Uncle bought a Anniversary Edition Goldwing in 91'. Fully Loaded, walked in & paid Cash.
    He had got a workman's comp settlement. Prob not the best thing to do with it but that's how he lived.

    I had a 1500 that the cruise would not work, I figured out that on the front brake handle was not hitting the switches right, so I did a little modification to the switches and it fixed it. Don’t quite remember exactly what I did, a few years ago lol. I was wondering maybe his lever not hitting the switches properly

      Levers not hitting switches properly is a common cause of cruise control problems!

    Hi Scott, can you go over that extended front wheel flap you have on your bike and where you got it?

    • @GoldwingDocs
      @GoldwingDocs  2 роки тому

      It was on the bike when I got it - I *think* it is an Add-On Accessories part, but no longer made. They still make a chrome version, however: addonaccessories.net/gl1500/gl1500-front-fender-extension.html

    Well I purchased a 1994 Honda goldwing the other day and when the deal was done I rode it about 60 mile home and everything was fine, but the next day on a cold start it would not start upon looking at the gas I noticed it was very low and when I first got it it had a Lil bit over a half of tank now it only works when I boost it off.so what's my problem 😀

    Could the problem with starting in gear with clutch in be to big of grips I have seen where people put on those big comfy grips but then clutch handle doesn't come in far enough to disengage.

    • @GoldwingDocs
      @GoldwingDocs  2 роки тому +1

      Definitely, if you can't pull the clutch in far enough to actuate that switch, then that will prevent you from being able to start in gear.

    I recently replaced my alternator with a 90 am model that is putting out 13.8 volts at idle. I think I seen a video that the man put double dog bone fuses in the bike. Is that something that should be done ? No instructions came with this alternator.

      This is a question I wish someone had answered. I’m rebuilding my 1988 1500 currently. It has a 40 amp alternator. To save money, I bought a parts bike (with a blown engine) that has a 90 amp! It has the double fuses that you asked about in place. Along with a factory sticker next to it on the frame that states this is a 90 amp system, and must have two! So I would say yes to your question. My question is can I put this on mine, our would this cause problems????? With a year passing, maybe you know more now?

      Sorry Sir I do not have any further information to provide. I became paralyzed and never rode my Wing last year. But I thank you for bringing up the fuse question I had heard about that before and forgot all about it. I better take care of that before I ever start her up again.@@HaleLife
