I did this one with your Spanish rice recipe. They came out perfect and delicious. My husband loved them. Your videos really help me cook with confidence.
I made these last night for dinner, and it was a HIT!!! I could not get over the flavor. We had seasoned fajita meat that I thawed, squirted lemon juice and let it sit for an hour, and then I followed the rest of your recipe. Will be doing this again! Thank you!
Wow! Exellente recipe, is to hot here in Texas to be grilling fajitas outside, I'm making this fajitas recipe, Glad to do it inside, fast & tasty, thank you for sharing
I have enjoyed your videos and have found them very helpful. This is a good recipe; we enjoyed it very much. Especially when not wanting to heat up the kitchen or move to the outdoor kitchen. Being from Texas, I grew up eating Tex-Mex. Later it was central and northern Mexican cooking, which differs greatly from Tex-Mex. Fajitas bear a marked resemblance to Alambres. FYI, skirt steak is the traditional meat, followed by flank steak. Why? Because traditional Fajitas are wet marinated to tenderize the meat. The lean top-sirloin will do in a pinch. Many times if not always, this is served with cooked jalapenos. Your recipe for fajita seasoning is fine, except it is missing oregano, particularly Mexican Oregano. It is called Mexican Oregano because it is not the same as oregano (from the Mediterranean area.) Mexican oregano is different when you smell them side by side, you will understand. Marjoram is a better sub if Mexican is not available. Add a Tablespoon of Mexican if you want to give the seasoning mix a real kick. Another FYI - the second time I placed the meat and veggies in a folding expanding steamer basket, they came out without being drained and did not cause the tortillas to get soggy.
@@AMindFullMom Yes, I looked it up & insta pot website says Beef, stew meat 20 minutes per 450 g / 1 lb, but you are cooking it for only 2 mins, that seems too short of a time to kill bacteria. I appreciate your help & reply, looks good. As an aside I tried frozen peppers & onion & it came out mushy :(
@@billanagnos7600 Hi Bill! Stew meat is a completely different type of beef than flank steak/sirloin steak. Steaks you want to cook much less or the beef will become tough.

@@AMindFullMom … which flour do you like to use? The traditional wheat flour or “white wheat “… or something else?…..
@@tonyacarey4176 I have used both with success. Typically whole wheat, but I even love them with all-purpose flour.
@@AMindFullMom thank u for answering!!!💕

Nice mom, yummy 😋
I’m glad you did this one! My hair just sucks in that smell to! Lol 😂
The struggle is real!
Glad to see the beef fajitas recipe. Chicken is good but it ain't beef. :)
Hope you enjoy
😊😍☺️
fresh garlic? 🤫
Fresh or minced work well
2 minutes and mine was not done!
Can I ask what type of beef you used and if your broth was warm at room temperature?
why does instant pot say cooking time is 25min but you say 2 mins???
I am not sure what you mean Bill? The video shows the IP set to 2 minutes. Do you mean that instant pot themselves say to cook steak for 25 minutes?
