Hey! Lots of comments coming in! Just a few things so you won't have to comment about them. I'll save you some time. 1. I say meals like mills. It's how I grew up. 2. I sometimes say Costed instead of cost. - I get nervous and sometimes it comes out wrong! ha ha ha! 3. And yes, these are not all super healthy. But we have 2 vegetables as a side dish for every meal. Moderation in all things. :) I'm just a Mom trying to get food on the table. Ha ha! 4. That's all! Thanks for your kind comments! :) Hugs! Kristen

These are great! My wife and I are senior citizens. It is sometimes hard to prep a meal for 2. My wife isn't able to cook any longer so I am tasked with co ing up with ideas and cooking meals. I am going to tr these, but will mix up one big batch, for about 6 servings and package them up into quart freezer bags and then put 3 bags into a 1 gallon bag. They should freeze longer. I think this would be a great way to fix some meals. It would also be nice to share with a sick or shut in friend. Thanks for sharing. I will be checking out more of your ideas as Super moms like you are not the only ones needing quick, easy, nutritious meals!
Yeah, my husband has passed it's just me. I haven't been able to reduce down my recipes from when 5 kids are home. So, I bag them up in quart bags. Amazon also has tin freezer containers with the take out lids for 2 and I use those also. It's like 50 of them for 21.99. Wrap in plastic and date them! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0763T1HT3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I agree with you Mike. I am in the same situation. My wife and I are both 75 and am always looking for recipes for the two of us. I’m sure that this channel will help us both out.
Busy daycare mom here, + college student. And I'm just getting over cancer treatments. I used your recipes a few times. I double all my recipes one for us and one for daycare. The kids looooove your recipes.
Busy mom here and I so appreciate the presentation.... sure some ingredients aren't the most healthy but it didn't say this is a non-GMO, nitrite/nitrate free, organic, non-processed, from scratch meal plan.... what this IS is a great resource for stocking your freezer for nights when you're being pulled in 30 different directions but still have mouths to feed. Schedules change, people get sick, sometimes you want to have a back-up plan. Some do want cleaner ingredients so make the swaps for what you can yourself. I still feel like most of this is way better than being handed a bag of something from someone with a nametag through a drive-up window. If you want healthier, just go make the necessary swaps. Being a keyboard commando over something they never said it was to begin with is ridiculous. Be nice people.
We have food allergies in the family and I study ingredients. I can tell you that most time I find the store brands are cleaner than name brands. It costs more to add all the food additives so they don’t.
Wow. Can't wait. These recipes were all new to me. Thx so much. I'm a Senior Citizen now, counting every penny. I have time to cook now but I LOVE the Instant Pot because I can make big batches at once, plus the meat turns out incredible, plus it uses only about 20% expense of the electric stove. I'm in Calif. You wouldn't belive what we pay for electricity. I do convert these recipes when possible to Organic meats and Organic canned stuff. At discount places like Dollar Store, Aldi, Grocery Outlet, and sometimes Kroger Stater Bros, it costs about the same. I do this because I have to , plus I prefer it. I cook big batches to freeze in order to keep electricity down, plus if I don't have to use the stove, it keeps the house cooler in the really hot summer. I live alone, so I freeze meals in a 1 serving bag. I often cook a bunch of plain side veggies like sweet potatoes and zucchini and squash, cauliflower , broccoli, ...and I store in Mason Jars in the fridge. Good for 10 days . I sometimes store my Salads this way too, but without the dressing so the lettuce stays crunchy. I appreciate all your recipes. You do so much to jazz up simple meats so I don't get bored of plain food all the the time. To save space in my little freezer I sometimes freeze 2 servings at a time so I can eat one, and then save another in fridge for the next day. Quart size bags usually. I also can freeze a serving for a sick neighbor. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THESE INCREDIBLE, TASTY, SIMPLE recipes. God bless all 6 of you and your families.
Just a little tip, when you finish a bottle off sauce...Just put a splash off water in the bottle and shake it... You Will get all the last sauce out and nothing is wasted ❤️ these meals are amazing! Thanks for the ideaal😁💖
I am a 74 year old widow, and I love freezer meals. I already have country style ribs in my freezer; I’m going to just add them with the slow cooker with the rest of the ingredients! I’ll be all set!
As a retired man who always enjoyed cooking, I’m intrigued by this concept. Thanks to Sheltering at home due to Covid, I have explored baking bread, making homemade broths, different ethnic foods, and so on. It’s just my wife and I but we do love repeated some of our favorite dishes now and then like pot roast, soups, stews, pesto, Italian, Mediterranean, BBQ, Soul Food, and more. Unfortunately we have limited room in our freezer but we are intent on getting a freezer. Thank you ladies for introducing this concept. Although we prefer cooking from scratch, your methods and advice are extremely helpful.
I'm a nurse, wife of a police officer, and mom of 4 busy & currently home/remote learning kids, so I'm kind of feeling like a chicken with my head cut off lately. I'm all about making my life easier! Thank you 💜
I just recently got into freezer prepping, that's how I discovered this channel. The Hawaiian meatballs are incredible, I just got done prepping them for a second time! I do add a jar of spaghetti sauce to mine. I made the pork green chili that was really good. Also did the ribs I thought that sauce came out tasting excellent. 6 hours on low was probably a little too long for my slow cooker and I should have known better, next time I'm going to cook those at 4 hours.
I just found you today for the first time! Due to an illness that appears to be long term, I’ve been looking for recipes that I can hire a cook to make for my family since I’m no longer able. (I never thought I’d need the help of a cook at my age, but... here I am and life has occurred. Take nothing for granted, young folks!) You have great ideas here AND you have such a sweet and friendly atmosphere. I’ll be subscribing! 👩🏼🍳
I’m recovery from severe illness where I was in the hospital in isolation for 21 days. Recovery at home will be over 6 months. This show is wonderful. I don’t have the stamina to do all the meals at one time, in fact, one would be quite an accomplishment, but nevertheless, this is wonderful. I need the shopping list because I’m still home bound and unable to drive.
Fantastic video! My go-to recipe for IP is Chicken Tinga! Feeds a crowd, very easy and versatile. Chicken breasts 1 small can of Chipotle sauce 1 can fire roasted tomatoes 1 sliced onion Cumin Salt Pepper Cook time:35 mins
Great video! Not a mom but I am a college student who also works so these pre made crockpot meals will be a lifesaver!! Thank you guys for the helpful tips and tricks ❤️
My husband will be so happy when I buy those freezer bag holders. Never knew they existed! I always have him holding open the bag while I pour things in yelling at him the entire time not to move!
They are giving the fundamentals. I mean if you wanted to go for homemade salsa you can always pick some up from the Deli or make it yourself. Same with the seasonings. You can always get frozen veggies or organic canned veggies instead. Let’s just be thankful we have two ladies giving is some great ideas.
Just my thoughts but put all except meatballs in bag, massage mix then add meatball and it will coat better. Gotta try this, love the sweet, sour aspect! Blessings!
I would recommend adding a little bit (1/8 to 1/4 cup) of water to the bbq bottles & shake 'em up so you can get as much of that sauce out of the bottles that you can for those ribs.... I will definitely be trying these recipes!
Oh Also I NEVER thought of this before until i saw someone do this [to soem shampoo] but you can take a exacto knife to the bottles to open them up. I have soooo been do this to like My Mayo jars and ketchup and other things. But i still got to ad water to glass jars and shake them up. :0) hehehehe
People need to realize its different on videos or tv than when they are actually making dinners have you ever watched food tv? they dont stand there and water and scrape everything..
@@williamcaldwell8809 Hey there, I was wondering the same. I have cooked regular baby back in the crock pot and I usually do it on low for about 5 hours. I guess if they don't update it I will probably just at a a couple hours since it will be frozen.
As a working mom of five I cannot tell you how much I appreciate videos like this because I look at some other videos and they are awesome and very relaxing to look at but I don't have time to do 80 freezer meals I have to work so this is right up my alley thank you so much
These are very easy to duplicate and also easy to substitute! I watched your video last night and made a pickup order as I watched. Picked up my items today and made the Hawaiian meatballs today over rice. Delicious. I am cooking dinner for one with leftovers for lunch & dinner the next day, and I have made 10 freezer bags so far and will be making about 8 more bags. Total: I spent $127 and these meals will last me about 50 days of lunch AND dinners! 💰🫑🧅🥩 The best thing about freezer crockpot meals is that I’m ensuring all my produce gets used & I don’t have items lingering in the refrigerator until they expire.
I love that you use a lot of canned ingredients. It makes everything very easy to put together, and I am a big fan of the chicken dish that has the salsa and taco seasoning, corn, black beans, and canned tomatoes. It’s one of my favorites, I forget the exact title right now, but I love to keep that on hand because it’s delicious.
I love this video! I'm a senior and I like making a large pot of something, then I freeze it in meal size containers. Three or 4 different meals like these and I've got my mains for a month. I just add a salad and I'm set. Thanks so much for this video. God bless you young ladies.
Our favorite IP freezer meal is Crack Chicken...it's so good! You can have it with egg noodles, turn it into a dip (the next day especially cool is amazing), make it spicy or not. It is just so easy and versatile! 4 Chicken breaststroke 1 can cream of chic with mushrooms soup 1 package cream cheese (the little bricks) 2 cups chic stock S & P to taste 2 packages of Ranch seasoning (I use 1 of the Fiesta/spicy and 1 regular) Cook 25 mins in IP if Chicken is frozen, half time is not. Quick release. Serve over egg noodles Can add veggies to the mix if you want to!
Seriously, thank you so much! I’ve been busy as heck ever since my husband deployed. I work full time and was feeling guilty for the frequent fast food trips. This way I can meal prep and my boys and I can eat healthier. Much love from Colorado. Hugs and kisses
I made the Hawaiian meatballs (vegetarian) tonight. Just did it in a pot and added carrots and broccoli. The vinegar addition was great! I did not use as much brown sugar as you called for maybe a 1/4 cup and all the pineapple juice in the can, I thickened the sauce with a cornstarch slurry and put over brown rice. I am looking forward to trying some other recipes here, but making them meatless. No sure the impossible meat options hold up in a crockpot, or tofu versions. I like the ideas ladies! Thanks!
works great. i love that it has stainless steal pot inside ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and not the one with coating. we used to have a coated pot before, and the coating slowly peels, and i am sure went into the food that we cooked. Absolutely love stainless steel, and will not use a coated product again. This pot has many settings and many buttons, and i need to sit down with a manual to figure out which setting to use. I used the basic functions, and even though i am not technologically skilled, i turned it on and assembled it without any help.Very satisfied with this product overall.
I usually do all prep on a weekly basis, don't freeze it unless I'm doing extra, and it works amazing for me! Just do a weekly meal plan, sort everything out and pop it in the slow cooker in the morning before work, always on low 😉 it's been an amazing life and time saver!! I don't have a big freezer so freezing a lot bof these wouldn't work for me but just having all the recipes and being able to assemble it in advance, and the flavours will be working its magic always turn out amazing! And i do substitute for ingredients that i feel are healthier if I feel the need to it. You girls are doing us busy women an amazing service 💜 thank you so much
QUESTION: Hi Sweethearts! You didn't say how long to cook the Country Style Ribs. I finally bought an instant pot, and it'll be here the first of the week. I'm watching all of your vids and writing down each recipe. You girls are a real delight and I'm enjoying your videos. THANK YOU!!!
I love this idea, my husband and are planning to live on our sailboat 9 months out of the year so this is a great idea for me to do at home, freeze and bring to the boat and keep in the freezer until we are ready to use them. I love using my instant pot on the boat, I just need to be aware of power usage when off shore. I love that the instant pot is faster so unlike a crockpot that would take hours and probably wouldn't work the instant pot seems to be working just fine.
And how she pointed out in the last recipe that the name brand happened to be on sale & cheaper than store brand. Just gotta pay attention to get the best deal for your budget. 🙂
I am a race director (so crazy event planner), high school cheer coach and single momma to a junior high 3 sport athlete. I can’t tell ya how much I appreciate a tutorial with recipes like these. So easy and convenient. Thank you! ❤️❤️
I’m going to try these but will start by adding the saucy ingredients first, giving the bag a good mix, and then adding the meat and chunky veg. I think it’ll mix better that way
This is a good way to have meals the family can make when I’m away from home. It would also work to give to friends or neighbors who are under-the-weather, or having a difficult time, etc. I was asked to help provide freezer ready meals for a new mom who couldn’t have interruptions or visitors bringing meals to her home (Health complications for baby and such). So, one person collected a week or two of dinners and made one visit. One of these would have been perfect for that. Thanks for the ideas. :)
I just found these videos and I’m in love. I have such a hard time trying to get good food on the table. My husband is a career Military man, and my son races 4 wheelers so we are on the go all the time. I will be able to take these to the races and when the day is over have something good and hearty to feed my guys with. Thank you girls!
Not even five mins into this and I am loving this. Brilliant ideas and all done so you can grab it and put in a cooker and forget about them. Thank you ladies this is just perfect
I wash and re-use my plastic bags, since I'm trying to reduce the plastic I put into the environment. Not sure that's possible, or practical, with oven liners?
@yerb awesome, I believe every bag counts. If people, particularly mothers, paid attention to the plastics trashing the environment and killing wildlife, we'd all be doing it. Sad that we're not.
I love you ladies, I work full time and this pandemic has made things rough. I appreciate these easy and cheap meals, and anyone who wants to lighten them up you totally can use reduced sodium or sugar free or fat free ingredients. I did it and they still taste great.
How? Seriously.... doesn't it leak when you're trying to seal or maybe hanging over the counter?? We have 2 instant pots and a new food saver and want to use the food saver to help make the freezer meals
Francine B* I agree, this is a great idea for surviving during this 2020 Pandemic. Especially now that some people are back to work and school. I have a slow cooker, but not an insta pot. But I’m wondering if my pressure cooker could be substituted for the insta pot? I’m looking forward to giving this a try.😋
THANK YOU! We are gluten free and dairy free and only substitution needed for these was coconut aminos for soy sauce (wheat in soy sauce)!!! That never happens and I'm thrilled to cook with some meats that I'm usually a little scared of! OH! And we live in FL and none of these felt heavy or wintery like most freezer meals I have found can be. Thank you!
I used to do this life just tossed me out of the habit of preparation for dinner in advance. Especially when your life is crazy . you ladies have done amazing ...
I just found you today for the first time! Due to an illness that appears to be long term, I’ve been looking for recipes that I can hire a cook to make for my family since I’m no longer able. I'm a guy in my late 20s with less and less time to cook (even tho I love to do so) vids like this have been extremely helpful. It's not just ladies that care about good food for cheap.
This was absolutely just as you said “EASY”. I’m retired and have a brand new crockpot, but I do not want to spend all day in the kitchen this is great. Thank you ladies.
@@HollyChristine I agree. any one of these recipes can be tossed directly in your insta or crock pot in less than 5 minutes. opening shelf stable jars and cans and then freezing it is silly and a waste of freezer space.
Having grown up in Philly, 99.9 % of the time, shaved beef on a steam table, and used American cheese. Also had sauce and onions to go on as well. Served up an Italian hogie roll. They were about 12" long.😁
My BIL recently was diagnosed with cancer. He & his wife have a 10YO that she home schools. She works part-time, and he has a super stressful 60+ hr/week job. Hubby & I made 10 of your freezer meals so they would have easy dinners while he goes thru chemo. (They loved the Hawaiian meatballs!) Having been a bit intimidated by the Instant Pot, i hadn’t used it for making much more than soup. These dinners were so easy that hubby and I plan to fill our RV freezer with ready-made meals for our next trip. Thank you so much!
Love the video, I will reference it again and turn it into a drinking game while I'm prepping. Every time you say Krogers take a drink, every time you say instant pot take a drink... this will add some fun to the prep
I’m making philly cheese steaks but with chuck roast and two Italian packets, 1/2 cup beer, 1 cup broth, 1 tbs. Worsteshire sauce, and 1/2 tsp garlic salt. Cook on low for eight hours and add the peppers and onions at last hour of cooking
These recipes are so easy I thank you all so much! I'm 68 years old going to be March 17th actually and I love making things to have on hand because I'm trying to watch my weight and I'll eat a ton if I don't have a something ready to go in the microwave it really helps!it really gets me upset to go into a magazine or a cookbook that asks for tons of ingredients before you can have a meal you guys are awesome God bless you all! ♥️🙏
Jeeeeez! Some of these commenters are just miserable people. These ladies aren't forcing you to make their recipes nor do they need critiquing by a bunch of keyboard warriors who are obviously looking for quick, cheap, simple meals to make at home. I promise some of you watch vids JUST LOOKING for something to b$#%@ about. I think they did a great job and will absolutely make some of these suggestions! Keep it up, sistas😉
Your comment is actually the most negative I see with the 20 that I read. Food for thought, when you are pointing at others you have three fingers pointing right back at yah!
The problem here is : if you use canned food which is already preserved, you don't really need to put it into freezer. Just toss canned food into a pan and give it a cook . Why would you open already preserved food and put it again into another plastic and put it into freezer? Seriously what is the actual purpose? I would respect if they cook raw beans and make meatballs etc. and then freeze it .
@@lilazeepnatuurlijk706 Pay attention . They're perparing meals and mixing the ingredients together. That way when they come home everything is already put together. It's like getting your lunch ready at night for the next day . They don't have to figure out what they've going to eat each everyday . Like hello fresh . Wakeup . These are prep recipes
I'd love a link to a printable shopping list...i'll watch the video again then pause when i see the ingredients. but a link to the recipes in the video would be great! THANK YOU for so many tasty recipes by the way!! Never mind - i found the recipes! YAHOO!!!!
I'm about to have my first baby any day, and just can't thank you enough for these videos! I feel so inspired and you guys make it look so easy. You guys are the best! God bless! :)
These are so awesome, my husband and I made freezer meals for our boys for Christmas, we spent almost a day and made them each 30 different meals. I love your videos and recipes, thank you
I've made the Pineapple Meat Balls several times. In fact, I ate the batch straight from the IP (ok, some of it was put in fridge containers). Had to make a SECOND batch so I could try it with rice; DELICIOUS!!! Y'all Be Safe!
Thank y’all so much, I am a single mom with 4 kids oldest is 16 youngest is about to be 11, I have only one girl so my boys love to eat. It’s so hard with school and work and doctors apts especially with my 12 year old special needs son. It’s helpful as well because it’s cheaper which helps me out. Thank y’all again
You could make meatballs but leave out the sugar and pineapple (which tbh sounds kind of nasty). include canned tomatoes with no sugar added or salsa (whichever works) and once cooked, put a cooked soft egg on top. It’s called shakshuka :)
I am actually planning on trying some of these but swapping the frozen/prepackaged meats with fresh that we get in bulk from butchering. Still, easy recipes and great tips.
For keeping my gallon sized bags open when I'm alone in the kitchen, I kept a size 10 can that used to hold augusan farms stew. It was something I already had so I just reused it. Thanks for sharing these recipes!!!
When freezing, the extra water from ice, must be accounted for when defrosted. Some recipes may be to watery. So, mix up ingred..before putting in bags. I like to cook meats seprate, also!
Whoa! These are super easy! Will totally use these! I’m a busy full time student who also works so these are very convient! I usually just buy fast food since whenever I buy groceries they go bad in my fridge since I don’t have time to make meals😭 so these will help me save money!
I love you ladies every step of the way w all your video’s. I just started a new job n get home so late. So I need all the crockpot recipes. Thank you very much.
This video was probably the most helpful and realistic meal prep video I've ever watched. It's actually doable, so now I'm excited to go grocery shopping and try these out!
@LesMaga-te6gx if you don't comprehend why that would be helpful or comprehend what video you chose to watch that's your problem 😂 take your comment somewhere else.
@LesMaga-te6gx oh look at that, you didn't comment on anyone else's comment.. hm 🤔 you also could've made your own comment to the video. But you decided to respond to mine. A few of the other commenters stated how/why this video was useful. Try some reading.
The seasoning for chicken tacos (even cheaper than the packets), I always have seasoned salt and cumin available. I don't measure. I just do a little dance, shake it on out and taste away. I found it to be better than any seasoned packets out there. So much flavor.
Thank you for all the work you do with your channel. I bought my first instant pot a few years ago and when I found your channel I was so happy because I had no idea how to use it. I love your recipes. I’m retired and most of my meals are from scratch now as I have the time. If I had this years ago I would have been thrilled to use all canned/frozen food or whatever I had on hand. As most moms know your days are long and getting a meal on the table in the evening is usually the least of your days concerns. I would try to plan out what we would have but work, children/after school activities or just life seemed to get in the way of my best laid plans. What I’m saying is I love your channel and your recipes. I tweak them to fit us as needed as I do with any recipe. Thanks again.
I appreciate you gals using tomatillos and cumin for your chile verde recipe. I am currently a grad student and it is hard to find time to cook so it is nice to learn of an easy, fun way to still get a little taste from home. I really enjoy your videos. You are helping feed a young couple in California! Subscribed!
I made the Hawaiian meatballs for dinner last night and WOW! so good! This will definitely be a go to for my family and I. It even made enough leftovers for today. Can wait to try the rest I made from this video.
Newman’s Own is my favourite barbecue sauce, I don’t use liquid smoke, the teeny tiny amount in his sauce is enough for me 😊 I love these recipes, thank you both.
For thr chile verde recipe, you can actually just add everything to a blender with the salsa verde. So the onion, tomato, tomatillo, pepper, you can even add serrano, and the salsa verde. This is what my gma does, and she just puts the salsa in a jar and keeps it in the fridge. You can add vinegar to the salsa to stretch the shelf life.
Love your recipes and the liquid tip. You could save yourself a lot of money if you use Tupperware to freeze the meals then thaw in microwave 1-2 minutes before putting in pot. Also, if you would be open to buying meatball bags that are resealable or get a hand held chip bag sealer you can just put your recipes in the meatball bags. Save money, No Tupperware no extra freezer bags.
*Great tip on [re]using the meatball bags!* I always feel bad using disposable ziplock bags when I could be using reusable containers. Our grandparents, and before, got by without the invention of ziplock bags just fine. Dishwashing machines make it easy to just use Tupperware or Pyrex w/lids. I just got some silicone zip bags... need to see if I can stand to wash them more easily than my aversion to disposable Ziplocks, haha.
You ladies and instant pot have to be the greatest thing that ever happened to working mothers! Heck, to ALL mothers working or not! I'm an old retired widow and I'm going to do this because cooking a meal for one is almost a waste of time. Now I can have actual meals without the long involved hassel ! THANK YOU!
Wow! That Plastic bag holder is awesome!!!!! Getting that and definitely looking at that freezer meal class! Thanks!!! I don’t like frozen meat. I feel there’s a lot of preservatives, sodium and added chemicals.
Thank You for the recipes I have tried many and love them for my downsize family which is now 2. So cut many of your recipes in half to freeze so I have 2 months worth. I have every book you have out even you magazines one. Have many my husband and I like. He likes the Cherry pie, cool whip, cream cheese one very much, mine is the Sunday dinner your mother make of pork roast and veg and more. Keep up the great work love it all.
J Mason I would think so. Depends on what you are cooking. If it’s a thick roast it would make a difference. But other things... I would think of it like this...for instance you have 2 chicken breasts, why would it take longer to cook 4? You can put 4 or 2 in a skillet and they cook in the same amount of time.
J Mason check out her UA-cam channel, she has a lot of videos that are just tips and tricks! I’ve watched a lot of them! I’ve only used my instant pot once but I have used a slow cooker for many years!
Yes, I cooked them 20 minutes and they were really tough. I wasn't sure if they would get more tender if I cooked them longer or if they were over cooked.
I found their recipe for this using the instant pot. Add 1/2 cup of water to the ingredients, cook on Manual for 30 minutes and let it naturally release. For a crock pot cook on low for 6-8 hrs.
I just found this video. I am just getting into meal prepping because I live in a "Jack Sprat" situation and have physical issues that make cooking difficult. These recipes are all things even my mother-in-law can eat and cook if they are prepped ahead of time. Also, I finally learned the hype over instant pots, so thank you.
I wish I could see the finished product of each (after it's cooked). Also, we only eat meat at home maybe once a month. I would love some easy vegetarian options! All of these looks so good!
just leave the meat out of the recipe. I'm NOT vegetarian, I don't eat meat because I DON'T like it. I just leave it out. It'll be ok, trust me, you don't need all new recipes.
@Keith Davidson I've had my own personal problems with MSG. The migraines are no fun. I figured it out through trial and error of what I ate. It's definitely MSG.
My husband and I have high blood pressure and so we have to watch sodium intake. 😞 It makes it so difficult to come up with low sodium recipes. Do you have any suggestions for LS recipes? Thank you so much! ❤️🙏🏼
very good ideas that these meet for me to be seasoned you can’t just rely on Extra ingredients that you put in the everyone’s got their preferences can’t wait to try this for my husband. I have surgery coming up and I’ll be out of commission for several weeks so we both need to have some meals ready to go.but missing the cooking times in IP and SC sure it’s somewhere. Thanks ladies
I just found you gals and I LOVE how you make the instant pot recipes SO EASY! I just watched this video of 15 easy freezer meals, but the one recipe I wanted to try, I noticed you didn't give an IP or SC cooking temps and times. I'm looking for the Instant Pot BBQ Country Style Ribs...I watched it in its' entirety twice and since I'm new to the Instant Pot, I need the amount of time and what setting please? Thank you ladies! LOVE you gals!!
Definitely saving this video for future reference! So here are the time stamps for those with the same idea :)

:) Hugs! Kristen

Love your videos! Thank you so much!! How long do you cook the BBQ ribs in the instant pot?
There are cook books for 2 people. I am used to feeding for 5+ now its down to 3 of us.
Go 'head Chef Mike!!
Mike Malone let us know how they are, Mr. Mike!
If I could give you a hundred thumbs up, I would!
So true! They gave exactly what they said they were going to give!
@@MSBowen-pk6ww why not add salt to eggs or milk? Is there already sodium in those two dairy products? Thank in advance.
We have food allergies in the family and I study ingredients. I can tell you that most time I find the store brands are cleaner than name brands. It costs more to add all the food additives so they don’t.
YES! Thank you.
Wow.
I do that with liquid detergent. ;)
Thank you 💜
I am so glad we can help!
May God bless and keep you both safe Stephanie.
I'd love to see these guys plated up. Maybe a sort of realtime freezer-to-table video? 💁🏽♀️💕

THAT would be helpful for my dad, too!
Thank you because I was not sure how long to cook the ribs..making them now
I just found you today for the first time! 👩🏼🍳
How are you doing?
I’m recovery from severe illness where I was in the hospital in isolation for 21 days. Recovery at home will be over 6 months. This show is wonderful. I don’t have the stamina to do all the meals at one time, in fact, one would be quite an accomplishment, but nevertheless, this is wonderful. I need the shopping list because I’m still home bound and unable to drive.
Fantastic video!
My go-to recipe for IP is Chicken Tinga!
Feeds a crowd, very easy and versatile.
Chicken breasts
1 small can of Chipotle sauce
1 can fire roasted tomatoes
1 sliced onion
Cumin
Salt
Pepper
Cook time:35 mins
Shirin Escobedo thank you.
Do tell!
Thawed or Frozen for your 35 minute cook time?
Sounds yummy! How many chicken breasts, boneless & skinless or not? And how much cumin?
Wow someone taught me this exact recipe I use pork though and man you’re right that is a go to recipe for sure
Great video! Not a mom but I am a college student who also works so these pre made crockpot meals will be a lifesaver!! Thank you guys for the helpful tips and tricks ❤️
I really appreciate you including the slow cooker as well as Instapot
Thank you!
My husband will be so happy when I buy those freezer bag holders. Never knew they existed! I always have him holding open the bag while I pour things in yelling at him the entire time not to move!
Lol @ yelling at him.
They look so handy. No more trying to stop the bag falling over and folding while you put stuff in it!!
I have some, and they’re GREAT!
patty 8873 where can I get some bag holders?
Yup! It'll be a marriage saver for sure for us! (Kind of like hangers that twist since he hangs things up "backwards", he says left-handed.) :)
Blessings!
How long would you suggest cooking the country ribs in an instapot or slow cooker? Thank you!!
I would recommend adding a little bit (1/8 to 1/4 cup) of water to the bbq bottles & shake 'em up so you can get as much of that sauce out of the bottles that you can for those ribs....
I will definitely be trying these recipes!
I was thinking the same thing; my mother used to do that all the time -- get ALL the product out!
Did anyone catch the cook time for the ribs? These are great time savers
@@williamcaldwell8809 Hey there, I was wondering the same. I have cooked regular baby back in the crock pot and I usually do it on low for about 5 hours. I guess if they don't update it I will probably just at a a couple hours since it will be frozen.
As a working mom of five I cannot tell you how much I appreciate videos like this because I look at some other videos and they are awesome and very relaxing to look at but I don't have time to do 80 freezer meals I have to work so this is right up my alley thank you so much
as a broke and usually lazy university student... this is genius!
If you use the Insta pot can you tell me the time you use to cook and to release the meals? I’d really appreciate it!
How long do these last in freezer? Did you cut each meal in 1/2 before placing in bag? Help ?
Thank you! Meal prep is the best!
Our favorite IP freezer meal is Crack Chicken...it's so good! You can have it with egg noodles, turn it into a dip (the next day especially cool is amazing), make it spicy or not. It is just so easy and versatile!
4 Chicken breaststroke
1 can cream of chic with mushrooms soup
1 package cream cheese (the little bricks)
2 cups chic stock
S & P to taste
2 packages of Ranch seasoning (I use 1 of the Fiesta/spicy and 1 regular)
Cook 25 mins in IP if Chicken is frozen, half time is not. Quick release. Serve over egg noodles
Can add veggies to the mix if you want to!
I'm going to try this thanks
Thanks for the recipe! I am going to try it!
Seriously, thank you so much! I’ve been busy as heck ever since my husband deployed. I work full time and was feeling guilty for the frequent fast food trips. This way I can meal prep and my boys and I can eat healthier. Much love from Colorado. Hugs and kisses
I am so glad this video was helpful to you!! Best of luck cooking! Much love!!
Thanks!
Idea for sides w the meatballs please?!
works great. i love that it has stainless steal pot inside ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and not the one with coating. we used to have a coated pot before, and the coating slowly peels, and i am sure went into the food that we cooked.
You girls are doing us busy women an amazing service 💜 thank you so much
Thanks for sharing!!
I used apple cider vinegar in the meatballs for the sweetness instead of white distilled and it was amazing!
Good idea! I'm trying this with ACV.
Kristen Potter I use vinegar in the cooker with my pork roast wow talk about tender .I seen a lady here on youtube do it .
i was thinking the same thing that it would taste better with apple vinegar
I agree, ACV is definitely better since white vinegar is a cleaning agent.
how did you eat them? what did you use as a side?... making this tomorrow!
Thinking the same thing. I'm going to go for 6 - 8 hours on low
I’m so sad because I just made the ribs in the crockpot 8hrs n dried it out.😢
@@lisaalvarez3880 Did you have it on high or low? Maybe you need more sauce or a little water. I'm sorry they dried out!
Noticed that too, maybe 20mins on IP, just add a cup of broth then youre ready to go
I love this idea, my husband and are planning to live on our sailboat 9 months out of the year so this is a great idea for me to do at home, freeze and bring to the boat and keep in the freezer until we are ready to use them. I love using my instant pot on the boat, I just need to be aware of power usage when off shore. I love that the instant pot is faster so unlike a crockpot that would take hours and probably wouldn't work the instant pot seems to be working just fine.
That is so awesome!! Freezer meals have to come in handy on the boat! Let us know how that goes!
I love how you girls are real about getting the off brand! I love saving by getting off brands they are always just as good :)
Just as good and sometimes better in my opinion
And how she pointed out in the last recipe that the name brand happened to be on sale & cheaper than store brand. Just gotta pay attention to get the best deal for your budget. 🙂
Almost always. No-bean chili from Great Value (Walmart brand) is NOT the same as the Hormel brand. 😂 Ruined our recipe. 👎
Not ALWAYS-almost but not always

Oh Thank you so much! Glad you like them!!!
What a great idea!!!!

I put the crockpot liners in my CP, put everything in to it. Clamp it off & put it into 2.5 gallon ziplock bag.
GREAT IDEA!
I wash and re-use my plastic bags, since I'm trying to reduce the plastic I put into the environment. Not sure that's possible, or practical, with oven liners?
But now youre eating all the chemicals that plastic gives off when heated... 🤢🤮

@@HollyChristine I agree. any one of these recipes can be tossed directly in your insta or crock pot in less than 5 minutes. opening shelf stable jars and cans and then freezing it is silly and a waste of freezer space.
Clearly you have never reached the point where you do not have the strength left to chop an onion.
Having grown up in Philly, 99.9 % of the time, shaved beef on a steam table, and used American cheese. Also had sauce and onions to go on as well. Served up an Italian hogie roll. They were about 12" long.😁

Your comment was the first negative one I came across.....the irony.

Cindy- thank you so much! Your comment made my whole day! I hope you have a wonderful day and a MERRY CHRISTMAS! Hugs! - Kristen
Yay! I'm so happy to hear that!
I made the chicken tacos and omg they were so good! My oldest daughter makes them often, she loved that recipe!
Newman’s Own is my favourite barbecue sauce, I don’t use liquid smoke, the teeny tiny amount in his sauce is enough for me 😊 I love these recipes, thank you both.
Stevia has a wonderful brown sugar. Good for dieabetics an keto diets. I use Stevia brand sugars for all my cooking. Love it!
Where do you find it?
Thank you so much for these videos! Everything looks delicious. I pray our God continues to move you to help others.❣️
Adding cook times for all recipes would help a lot 😊
they said cook times after each one
I think they forgot to let you know the time on the meatballs.. but they did give the time on the other recipes.
@@TM-yr6xc they say it at 2:50
@@TM-yr6xc 6 hours on low
@@briannagarrett4143 thanks 😊
27 mom of 3, I just got a deep freezer and crockpot & I liveee for these videos
I would definitely try this, thanks for the great tip!
You ladies and instant pot have to be the greatest thing that ever happened to working mothers! Heck, to ALL mothers working or not! I'm an old retired widow and I'm going to do this because cooking a meal for one is almost a waste of time. Now I can have actual meals without the long involved hassel
! THANK YOU!
Yes us single people can do this also … just divide down into smaller meal portions .....
@@diannehorvath1763 Oh I do the whole thing and put the rest in small containers in my freezer for later! No need to cook later LOL
Wow! That Plastic bag holder is awesome!!!!! Getting that and definitely looking at that freezer meal class! Thanks!!!
I don’t like frozen meat. I feel there’s a lot of preservatives, sodium and added chemicals.
This is such a good idea for working moms! I'm retired now and need to do this, but I really think you girls have great ideas!
I LOVE THESE FREEZER MEAL IDEAS! these have been a game changer for me! Thank you six sisters for giving me the confidence to cook 😂
You are so welcome!!! Giant Hugs!
These are so simple!! I currently follow a specific diet and most of these are easy to convert for my needs. Thank you for sharing these
Thank You for the recipes I have tried many and love them for my downsize family which is now 2.
When you cut her recipes in half do you reduce the cook time by half in slow cooker and/or instant pot?
I heard her say that for the instant pot the cook time is the same no matter if you make the whole recipe or half.
@@barkers0609 Thanks! Do you know if the same applies to slow cooker?
J Mason I would think so. Depends on what you are cooking. If it’s a thick roast it would make a difference. But other things... I would think of it like this...for instance you have 2 chicken breasts, why would it take longer to cook 4? You can put 4 or 2 in a skillet and they cook in the same amount of time.
J Mason check out her UA-cam channel, she has a lot of videos that are just tips and tricks! I’ve watched a lot of them! I’ve only used my instant pot once but I have used a slow cooker for many years!
Question: how long do I cook the ribs in the instapot?
Great video, thank you so much! ❤️
Yes, I cooked them 20 minutes and they were really tough. I wasn't sure if they would get more tender if I cooked them longer or if they were over cooked.
I would like to know how long to cook them before I make them.
I found their recipe for this using the instant pot. Add 1/2 cup of water to the ingredients, cook on Manual for 30 minutes and let it naturally release. For a crock pot cook on low for 6-8 hrs.
See recipe: 7. Cover slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
I do mine 40 min manual release. They fall right off the bone.
Thank you! You said "easy" and it's easy for real!! I really appreciate that... not like 100 ingredients :P
It's almost mix up of frozen meals and cans foods
Definitely they don’t eat what they’re preparing!!
It‘s so gross, I‘m gonna puke.
This is the first time I’ve heard of freezer meals; I cannot wait to try these!!
Thanks for the tips! I’d definitely cut the sugar on each of these, but they all look fantastic!
Glad you like them!
Yeah I agree, just add whatever kind of cooked bean you like, chickpeas, kidney beans, lentils etc adjust IP times or slow cooker as needed. Simple!
Due to problems with MSG I have to do most things from scratch to avoid it but I still like your videos because it gives me ideas to use. Thank you.
@Keith Davidson I've had my own personal problems with MSG. The migraines are no fun. I figured it out through trial and error of what I ate. It's definitely MSG.
dbennett20 me too
Keith Davidson MSG use to make my daughter very sick with migraines, I assure you it is not a myth.
@Keith Davidson So true, thank you.
I get msg migraines, as do my mother and grandmother
I just happened to stumble onto this and y’all are Fantastic and an answer to my prayer.
Yay!! I am so glad you found us!
My husband and I have high blood pressure and so we have to watch sodium intake. 😞 It makes it so difficult to come up with low sodium recipes. Do you have any suggestions for LS recipes? Thank you so much! ❤️🙏🏼
Brunswick's Stew is my all-time favorite during the winter or whenever it's cold outside. I usually switch it for chicken. So delicious and hearty. 🥰
Share the recipe please!! 😍
very good ideas that these meet for me to be seasoned you can’t just rely on Extra ingredients that you put in the everyone’s got their preferences can’t wait to try this for my husband.
I also would like to know.
