Let's Play Trespasser Customs: InGen Compound

- On this episode of Trespasser Customs, an agent is dropped into the South American jungle close to an abandoned InGen facility. Our mission is to gain entry to the facility in order to obtain the genetic data stored within, and then call in our extraction chopper. The map is small but intricately detailed, and filled with neat, intuitive puzzles and a few new guns and models. We've gotta find a way through the front gate, restore power to the facility in order to power up the electronic locks, and get a hand with opening a palm scanner into the lab itself. And once we have the data, we run into one more obstacle on the way out that leads to an explosive finish.

Hey Shade, thanks for playing another one of my levels! I'm glad you got some of these puzzles rather easily because I was beginning to think I was making them TOO difficult for players lol. Your comment about me going overboard with the mountain ranges got me lol. I actually just used a pre-generated terrain made by another TresCom user named machf that he made based off real terrain data of some island in the Pacific, and I just formed the basis of my level around the existing terrain :p
I'm also not sure what happened with the computers in the embryonics lab. When you touch the keyboard the screen is supposed to display a window with a scrolling DNA sequence. I'm not sure how this got glitched, but it might be due to savegame issues or something. Other than that this playthrough was really fun and couldn't have come at a better time. I sadly haven't done any work on Dark Jungle as I'm mostly just busy with irl stuff and finishing up TresCom's 20 anniversary community level, which is unfortunately past our previous deadline of last year. Hopefully you can around to finishing that playthrough of Mountain Road and do an LP of our upcoming community level in the future! :)
Glad you got around to this one, definitely one of TresGuy's finest works. Some of the things he did here are complex ideas we've always discussed in-depth but nobody has actually executed in-game until this level. I'm still working on Cloning Facility, happy to hear you're interested in it.
And don't ever assume that you can't do something in Trespasser - with the right scripting you can pretty much script up anything gameplay-wise!

Wow what a beautiful-looking map. Got to love what the CE engine can do also that puzzle with the Pachy is really impressive. Hope we get more maps made by the user who created this.

Late for the party, but I´m genuinely astonished that this game still has some awesome modders! I loved the game back then (even though it nearly burned my PC to crisp) and I love to return to it from time to time :)

It's rare that I write a comment on YT but it's important to me to say how grateful I am for the Trespasser modification videos. It is one of my all time favorites games. I played a few mods myself but there are some mods that I can't really get to work. That's why it's really great of you that you put in the effort to get some stubborn mods to work. I like to watch every mod for the game and you offer the opportunity to do so.
What's also great is the information about certain ideas from modders, engine limitations and what the TresCom(munity) is planning.
The videos are generally really well done and thanks for showing the many Trespasser mods!

Oh nice, those cages with the ladders are those from the beginning of the original Jurassic Park I think, the opening "Shoot her!" scene.

The photo from the bunker shows the crew of the Polish television series four armored men and a dog. Telling about the Polish tank crew during WW2 Czterej Pancerni i Pies
45:19 that picture is from an old Polish TV series called Four Tank-Men and a Dog (Czterej Pancerni i Pies). It was so strange to randomly see it in a Tres level

Probably not at launch, since money is tight and I'll probably need a hardware upgrade for it to run halfway decent. But I might get to it a little while later.
45:13 This photo is from the polish movie "Czterej pancerni i pies" (four armoured and dog :P ) and this tank below is t-34 was name Rudy 102. Dog names is Szarik (sharyc)

Good video, Shade. I also appreciated playing a level with clever puzzles as opposed to a level that's just about kill, kill, kill. T.G. did a bang up job on this.

Tide is not a cereal, it also had this slogen on the box: Tide's in..dirt's out. It's a detergent.
It was a loose joke about kids eating Tide pods.
