This reminds me of Stryfo Pile except the mana base is less greedy since you're not dipping into green.
Stryfo and I have had our instances of parallel thought throughout the ages but he’s always been a few steps ahead of me 😁
@@JamesKisau I just checked MTG Goldfish and Stryfo 5-0'd a league with a list that had 4 copies of Psychic Frog just 2 days ago. He also had 1 copy of Pyroblast in the main which is spicy.

The game vs Eldrazi really sold me on frog. There are so many different things it can do and it's hard to stop. Also fwiw you navigated the games well. Who says control mages can't do combat math?!

I knew I had to at least try it :) Similar to other classics like Dreadhorde Arcanist I don't like having to care about removal spells, though yes the card is incredibly powerful when capitalized on!

Yes I think so! My lines were dedicated to not flipping and having the option to block for some reason, as a few seconds later I accidentally flipped it and felt like I messed up

Why r u on obstructionist over tidebinder and why only 1 tamiyo?
Unfortunately Tidebinder is a pretty underwhelming card in Legacy. It seems to do alright in other formats though. And I’m not sure what the right number of Tamiyo is yet, this list isn’t honed so stay tuned!

@@sandpiperbf9767 yes! In general it is very difficult to interact with. Doomsday and other Thassa’s Oracle decks have trouble with it while normal spells fall short. The evasion on the creature mode is also more relevant than 2 toughness in my experience. And in the rare scenarios it’s truly dead it cycles, albeit 3 is a little steep for that.
