I love the fact that the turn after Johnathan, the pirate, dies jimmy cycles a lonely sandbar. It's the place where the pirate hid his last treasure token lol

For those who may not know, this is the second time that Jonathan has died because of Descent into Avernus. Legend 😂
2nd time on camera? He could have died more times that way off camera.
He was also stealing opponent's stuff the other time and (technically) killed himself too. A true legend, indeed.

You did a lot of damage to yourself, then blamed him for playing an enchantment 2 turns before. Seems a little unreasonable. I’m not trying to be mean or anything though, I just think it’s goofy
The chemistry of these 4 feels the most natural i've ever seen on game knights. This could of been any home playgroup. Love it.
It helps that I’ve known D for over a decade now! We go way back, and it feels like Jonathan is a lifelong friend too - Jimmy

I was 7 in 2007 when the first game came out. Played them up until Ezio's story was done. Rest of the games all looked meh and even the last 2 Ezio games were getting old.

Jonathon killing himself with his own enchantment and then Josh saving him and then him killing himself off with a fetch just so D didn't get the satisfaction of killing him has got to be one of the top moments in magic

Always love getting Jonathan Young back on the show! I'm new to Magic but I've gone back and watched most of the Game Knights in the past few years, and this has got to be one of my favorites. The decks, the constant swinging of the game between players, the players themselves, everything was just perfect. Here's to a good Game Knights!

Jonathon and D burning themselves out in like 5 turns is ABSOLUTELY the type of chicanery I love seeing at my own table and on this show. And that tense showdown between Josh and Jimmy was legit great

This was definitely a great video and an awesome game of Commander. Also, congrats Andrew for the win. Assassin’s Creed is one of my all time favourite games/series and it was fun to see them come to MTG with their own set and I’m happy you got to show them some love. Jimmy is one of my favourite people since he’s so much fun and it was nice to see you claim victory…with my man DaVinci to boot (the OG ally of the Assassins). Johnathan is one of my favourite people/artists ever and it was fun to see him come back on Game Knights…and it was also fun to see him go out on his own terms. Great job Game Knights and I can’t wait to see what you guys do next.
When I play with my Assassin's Creed Deck I'm going to be running my take on the Brotherhood Initiates Deck which means it's the Blue-Black deck commanded in a Commander/EDH style game by the man, the legend, the leader of the Italian Brotherhood himself Ezio Auditore De Firenze, and yes 4 of the creature cards will be Ezio's super-intelligent ally who is not only a brilliant mechanical engineer, but a master artist, and a brilliant doctor who revolutionized the study of the human body/anatomy Leonardo Da-Vinci, and 3 of my most favorite Assassin Creed protagonists those being the Frye siblings Jacob and Evie, and Connor Kenway.
You are very awesome doing unique intros for each episode now. I mean wow, with its own music arrangements too. Nice work.

Very fun episode. Haven't really been interested in this set, but looks like there's some cool stuff. Really liked the end where you felt like you sped it up or at least made it a bit more snappy. Got that fighting game feel going real well imo.
38:08 is literally one of my favorite game knights moments ever between jimmy and johnny. This episode had me screaming the entire time rooting for those pirates ❤️🙌🏻

This was one of the more unique games of commander I’ve watched online. No one was non competitive and the ending was kind of crazy in how it just became normal magic.
If I had a nickel for every time JLK made a Karate Kid 2 reference in Game Knights... I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice

I'm going to run the Brotherhood Initiates Deck from the Starter Set which in a commander game is led by Ezio and yes along with adding in Connor Kenway(his card calls him by his Mohawk name but I don't know how to properly spell it), both Evie and Jacob Frye I'll also be adding in Leonardo Da-Vinci cause I can't have a Ezio deck and not include his best buddy and go-to tech expert for new gadgets and gadget upgrades.

Artifact decks are always so insane. With little to no mana color dependency they can so easily synergize and stack up.
One of the funniest episodes with a lot of great twist and turns! great use of the new cards with some great staples
And this is why Descent Into Avernus is one of my favorite cards in commander regardless of whether it’s on my side of the table or an opponent’s it always leads to a fun game

The best episodes always come down to basically anyone having a chance to win. I feel like all 4 players were in the game and had winning within their grasp.
