It really seemed to me any time you dropped Oculus it was an absolute bomb, really turned it around in a couple of games. Not sure why you rate it mid and sided it out vs energy last game. It seems better to me than Kaito in that match up, just on virtue of being able to defend a wide board.

@2:39:33 you didn't put your bowmaster in for the 1 point of damage and lost the first game in the finals potentially because of it (though they probably had the push or the bb in hand, but we didn't know about it. was curious why you didnt put it in for the point of damage when racing, I guess you were nervous.

watching your legacy challenge video, and saw one little suggestion that i noticed. When there is a non staple card in opps hand or on stack would be good to give a quick summery of it if you already know it, so those of us that can't look it up while watching know what is going on. Sire of insanity from match 2 of that video, had no clue what it was and i dont watch on pc normally to search it up, so was a bit lost as to what was going on and the decisions being made. (i am really bad with card names too, so a lot of time i will remember the card by what it does so i knew that card but didn't know it was sire.) just a suggestion to make it a little more watchable for lower level nerds ;)

Enrichetta is crazy. I played against in the legacy challenge 32 from 25/9. He built his piles in like 0.2s

What a victory! I love to see Grixis Control perfom so good and congrats to your 2nd place. Just funny to see that you stated in a earlier that you never made it into top 8. Round 2 reanimator opponent scooped because they didn't have any outs. The pests have summoning sickness and cling covered all of their reanimation (unless they had exhume, which I haven't seen much lately), so Borrower flying over for the last 3 points gets you there. You also could've saved Bolt for that reason.

I watched punishingwaterfalls video too. The kaito reaction/metamorphosis/flame of anour/counterbalance reactions were great!!!

I think round 3 game 3 turn 2 you could play stage, use stage and forest to spin forest into a depths, and then next turn play a swamp and use the treasure to make a 20/20

Didn't watch this one yet but played the deck at 50 player tournament and faced two other Grixis decks those were running just new cards like Murktide, Tamiyo, Nethergoyf and Frog and got completely annihilated :(

kaito seems really powerful as a finisher

very fun to watch the new cards and spooky theme even with the rough plays

Had to pause at 13:20 to comment, so will see where things go, but pretty sure the 5/5 that makes a 2/2 every turn is better htan kaito, so curiosu to see you play Kaito and pitch the 5/5 to force

37:37 why not to cast bows targeting goblin in his upkeep before his Fable chapter two. Much hard for him co cycle cards and even if je doesent he cant really attack.

Who is better, Jace or Kaito? I like how owl and Kaito connect, horewer, Jace seems better in the late games

Honestly outside of the doomsday part of the deck, I think the depths and reanimator parts were pretty solid. Doomsday's biggest issue was just that you weren't actually a blue deck so jace was uncastable outside of the win. That said, wielding a monstrosity like that is hilarious, and def worth doing at least one for the fun. Even funnier that it was your first ever lotus draft.

if you only glance at the preview picture only it isn't immediately obvious its a magic video. Sure the title clarifies as does the text but it might be worth thinking about next time.

I don't understand why you aren't running frog anymore. Isn't it one of the best cards ever printed?

You could run a null rod for the artifact decks? I believe there’s less zero mana artifacts to sweep, due to bauble.

God that second Jeskai game. Those plays are exactly how my Jeskai jam opponents are playing the game… after the dust settles there is nothing but ”oh look what I top decked, another bomb!” plays and I always just lose my mind :D it is so painful to watch games where there are over 30 cards in an opposing deck but top four of them just happen to be all their win conditions.
