Hey when you pull on the pressure points did you just grab the bumper and pull on to unclip? I'm coming from a civic where the clips are weirdly placed but this seems like I can just pull on it and it'll be all fine correct?
Tech Defender yes just pull on it. Start on one side where it meets the fender. Pull on it but don’t go crazy pulling. Don’t yank it still be be gentle if that makes sense. Once one side is off the other comes side comes off really easy make sure you unclip the harness as well on the bumper. It will be a little hard to pull if it is the first time the bumper is coming off that is normal.
@@prvideos8229 OK I see. Just gently pull on it so it'll unclip right? I'm coming from a 2018 civic where clips are rather easy to break and when I need to take the bumper off I usually have to stick something in the bumper to Undo the clips. Probabaly won't need to do that with the Stinger bumper I'm assuming.
Tech Defender Do not stick anything to undo the clips you have a high potential of breaking a clip. Just pull on it gently and add force gradually. The clips are pretty hard the first time you are taking the bumper off since it has never been off. I don’t recommend sticking anything it is a very expensive bumper.
Tech Defender Make side you have taken the bolts off and all the clips which I assume you did. Then on my video on 2:10 mark when I point out the pressure points. Pull on that side. Grab the bumper side on were it meets the fender. The under the liner where there is that bolt that you took off pull from there it will give you more leverage. From 2:52 on the video that is where you want to pull from.
The bumper is real easy to put back on , just make sure you follow the steps is reverse order ... the main thing is linning the bumper up correctly .... then plug the harness on the driver side and make sure the bottom linning is tucked under bumper .... then where I showed the pressure points push them bumper and it falls into place ....
we got one in our shop we need to take the bumper off now i know how thank you
