  • After Diagnosing Ignition Coils and Spark Plugs, It turned out a bad PCV Crankcase Vent Valve Oil Separator was the culprit , Genuine part number for this 2013 Volkswagen CC is "06H103495AH". I decided to open the top cover to see Damage inside .

NOTE :- This Video is not about how to replace Your PCV Crankcase Vent Valve "Oil Separator" . It was recorded to show how I have identified the PCV Valve was the culprit of the problem. Thank you for your support !

I tried replacing only the diaphragm yesterday, but couldn't get the cap off! Good thing I bought the entire assembly as well. Replaced the assembly and it runs better. I had to break the cap on the old breather just to get to the old diaphragm and it was torn in multiple places. I may just use the new diaphragm with the orig. assembly, in case this cheap assembly fails!

I was able to get the cap off and replace the gasket and it still misfires.

@@mcclenty7 Try replacing the entire assembly because there is a spring and another diaphragm on the other end, I believe...
