Or, better yet, have justices be elected by the lower courts on strict qualifications on merit of tested judicial integrity and service records and then confirmed by congress and sworn in under oath that, on mere suspicion of corruption in any form will mandate immediate and automatic suspension from office pending investigation and impeachement hearing.

Regrettably, we no longer have a choice. Our criminal justice system has to be overhauled from top to bottom, starting with the supreme court’s lack of ethics and accountability. There must be stringent rules placed on the conduct of justices and judges. SCOTUS justices must not have lifetime appointments any longer. Partisan political standing in the courts must be outlawed. The law is supposed to be impartial not partisan political
