      Thanks! We will see, pitsterpro has been around for 18 years in Utah and probably has one of the best reputations out there for pit bikes so they have a pretty good track record. Having said that we all know how good the reputation of the kawi is as well!

    The reason bikes like the pitster/ ycf will always come second to honda or Kawasaki is cause you have fan boys that claim they've owned one that had this that or another problem when in reality they probably never changed oil, lube the chain, replaced spark plugs or clean their fuel tanks then wonder why their stuff falls apart.

    • @dimitrizakv7285
      @dimitrizakv7285 2 роки тому

      ive had a ycf 190 daytona it was a great bike always changed the oil after 5 hours of riding time and had problems with it at all, the klx 110’s and crf 110’s have exactly the same motors as a regular 110 pitbike, if you treat any bike good and change the oil in time it will last for years, id rather spent my money on a pitster pro or a ycf then on a klx 110 or a crf110

      Facts, most of the bikes are being built or manufactured in China. Plus they buy out the old patents and have laws that sometimes don’t let them sell here in the US. So maybe 10 years ago I’d say stick with Honda or kawi but today shiii the Chinese bikes are more like ktm and Honda mixed together lol like a sick KTONDA 😂

    I have the FSE110R for my 10 yr old to learn on. It's been great so far. Also, why did you add a light switch? If you turn in the key to the second position, it sends power to the [already wired] auxiliary part of the harness.

      Depends how I ride it. I compete in 250/450 Expert classes and I rode the Pitster Pro as hard as I do my race bikes. / and my KLX 110. The pitster pro’s motor isn’t bad until it blows up. Also the frame was built a little crooked and the swing arm was a bit too long which made it sketchy to hit jumps with it.

Who knew flash forward 15years 110 are the sought after bike lol. I want to get one they're out of stock everywhere right now. But im torn to go with a fse110r or piranha 140 or 125... im digging the stock set up of the fse110 with semi auto i can let kids and wife learn on it eventually too hmm. How are the pitsters holding up any issues?

    • @r6realtor
      @r6realtor  4 роки тому

      the only issues i've had with the fse110r is keeping the junk out of the carb, really flush the tank out good and keep a GOOD fuel filter on it and you should have no issues. I sold the fast one because for what I ride its just way to fast, in tight single track it was actually a handful plus I never rode it. The guy that bought it from me supposedly did have issues with it but he admitted he beat the hell out of it.

    my friend just got one yesterday. the daytona 190 4v. the manual for that motor itself says you need to pull the head every 50 hours. do you know if those huge motors really need rebuilt as often as the manual says or is that all precautionary?

    • @r6realtor
      @r6realtor  4 роки тому +2

      Im sure if he races it he will need to go by the manual but if he is just trail riding it and not beating it and keeping up with the oil changes and air filter he may not need to. Any race bike even all the ktms, Yamaha's and Honda's I've owned all say they need rebuilt after a very short time as they assume you will be racing it.

  • @ManEHawke

    • @r6realtor
      @r6realtor  3 роки тому +1

      It does feel a bit softer because of the adjustability. i actually had to get my daughter the aftermarket adult seat for the klx to soften the seat as she rides the klx110l now and my son rides the pitster. You really can't go wrong with either one but the klx is definitely more expensive.

      The mxr 155 pitster has a full manual clutch gearing. But most of pitsters other bikes are semi auto

    I have a Chinese pitbike. Thumpstsr zongshen190. They are what they are. You beat the snot out of any bike and don't take care of it they fail. No matter what brand. With that said. I broke 3rd gear riding it like a dick. Split cases and fixed it as opposed to buying a replacement motor. While apart I upgraded some internals. Point is, don't buy a Japanese/Chinese pitbike thinking you can trash it and nothing breaks

    You have to build the Chinese bike! The Chinese are using Americans for cheap labor now. Fools! Kawi costs more but you had to assemble the Chinese bike.

      It just depends on your budget some people don't want to spring for the extra money of a kawi or honda. Putting the bike together literally take 30 minutes, all bikes have to be assembled from the factory, my yamaha's, honda, KTM's, etc.. hell, the 2 yamaha 2021 kodiak 700's that I just purchased both came in a box the size of a walmart desk! those took a couple of hours to assemble you're just paying big bucks for the dealer to do it for you!
      A little off topic but as you brought up the Chinese; next time you're at a cycle shop take a look at where all the Honda 50cc-125cc crf bikes are made and assembled in..I will give you a hint it's not Japan.
