• They has tumultous relationship, and when Em talked bad about Kim in his songs and made infamous Kim song, the real Kim attempted suicide and Hailie found her
• Kim also was addicted to drugs
•She's been in and out from jail her whole life
• My guess is Em feels responsible about Kim because her problems are partly his fault
• First Em had Alaina's and Hailie's guardianship but later in the life Kim becae co-guardian also
• Em build a house to Kim near his own place so he and his team is able to keep the eye on her.
• I bet Em supprts Kim financially
