45 now, Fan since he dropped SSLP but he didn't hit my top 5 or solidify as my fave till after Mmlp, 8 mile Soundtrack & TES., triplet. Prior 2 Em, Wutang was my fave. Top 7 (i got 2 groups in there, lol) are Em, Wutang (idc if group, my list & all are fire on mic except rza, but he's dope producer.), Nas, , Outkast, Redman, Jada, Kurupt.
I liked this song back in the day but it's hit different since I had a daughter at 30..
Idgaf who knows, if im playing this especially wit the vid in the whip, eyes start welling up & I can't remember last time I actually cried. Like most men, I bury that ish so I can be all Effed in the head. Lol

2 amazing details about this song:
    - Almost the whole two last verses are a dream. It starts at the beginning of the second verse with "I keep havin' this dream" and ends in the third verse with "That's when I wake up".
    - This song shows Em killing Slim Shady with Em saying "find a gun on the ground, cock it
put it to my brain, scream, "Die, Shady!" and pop it". Slim is then "dead" until he comes back in the Relapse album with the song My Darling.

I fell in love with this song before I was an aunt to 9 from my sisters. When I had my son, this song hit so differently. It changes depending on your life at the moment. This song is so genuine.
