obvious addition to the keyboard shortcuts: when using windows, exchange "command" with "ctrl" and the shortcuts also work ;) (quite funny as you 1st refer to an OS compatibility list and then share shortcuts for apple only) -edit: forgot to add an important part ;) => thanks for all those tips, really helpful.
Great video man…. My own personal one is mapping silent cue to the sync button on my DDJ-SP1, I never use sync but DJing with a Rotary makes dropping tracks far easier.
My personal favorite keyboard shortcuts are Command+Arrow Left to load a selected song to the left deck or Command+Arrow Right to load it to the right deck. I never drag songs to a deck, always use the CMD+arrow shortcut or the load button on my controllers.
Here's one I want serato to make and wonder if you know it will ever be possible to do. I want to be able to use stems in FLIP, as make an instrumental loop intro using stems to create however. Thank you fro the awesome video, I've been using serato for years and learned a trick or three here!
@@DJBlakeyUk Talk about endless options. Right now I'm doing so much to make this happen, but now after watching your videos, I have an idea or two I'm gonna try with midi mapping. Thank you.
Hey I received a playlist in a PDF file and I want to know if there is any way that I can convert this PDF to Create a playlist in Serato Dj pro 3.2.0v
@@sheldonhoward31 Hi. That’s not possible but you may be able to find a service online that can turn a list of songs into a Tidal playlist, and you can then use Tidal inside Serato.

@@DJBlakeyUk no i mean how to use both macbooks pro at the same time where i can transition spanish music to english because i have to be chamging from deck 1 to 3 and from deck 2 to 4
@@Deejayleanent You would need to store a whole Serato library on an external. Google “use external drive for Serato library”, Serato themselves have a support article showing how to do this
My question is, why doesn't Serato enroll in Apple's beta program to test macOS updates and report feedback to Apple like many other software developers do? Why always be playing catch-up when most Serato DJs use macOS?
@@djtommy My understanding of that situation is that software companies do not know what may or may not work until the final version of any new OS is released. So it’s a scramble for any software company to make everything run smooth again as soon as a new OS drops. It’s just a reality of software development, putting out fires constantly.
@@DJBlakeyUk the fact that I can use it on iOS makes it future proof and steps ahead of Serato. It loads faster and you can use multiple streaming software at once! The beatgrid is wayyyy better and the stems are wayyyy cleaner! They just gotta update the sampler and it’s a wrap!
I’ve only used DJ Pro because that’s what I started with. I have the Mixon 4 controller with iPad connectivity. I enjoy it a lot. The only problem o had was when they removed the Neuro Mix. Ppl complained so much they brought it back.

Great tips, the shortcuts are REALLY helpful
Plenty more too, I’ll do a part 2 soon
Shift Left Arrow () will load to the left and right decks as well.
This is awesome, thank you for sharing the knowledge Blakey

I still can't believe they have not implemented a way to find multiple copies of same song

7:27 Double tapping the Load buttons does instant doubles without wasting another button, at least on the DJM mixers.
I do know that, but the point of that section was just to show that you can midi map any function to any button on any Serato device :)
