Just came across your channel the other day and been going through your videos. I'm a self taught deer only taxidermist and I really only do a handful of them every year, but I have been doing them for some 25 plus years. So since the internet came about, I would scour about trying to find any good tips/videos on the craft. Amazingly there hasn't been any real high quality in depth videos to speak of. Until I came across yours. And what is amazing to me is how similar yours and my technics are, really almost scary. Anyway I just really want to thank you, and I appreciate that you have taken time out to document some of the processes. It well done, informative, and top notch work. May the Good Lord multiply his blessings on you.
Bens forms are great! Ben really helped me more than 25 yrs ago when my business was just takin off. I've never forgotten that. He's a good man! Hello from Mississippi.
That is so cool!! He is definitely a brute! I started in taxidermy a year ago and I love it! Definitely another side of me I never knew I had! I’m 17 and is a licensed taxidermist and I love it!
That was masterful work. I wanted to be a taxidermist when I was younger and just fell away from it. Its amazing to see how fast he did it w such detail. When I was researching it the molds were pretty simple and required some contouring. These seem to be ready to go.
Your videos are awesome... Been watching you for about a month now.. sometimes I'll find myself watching the same video just to refresh my memory while I take notes. Plan on getting into it slowly. Getting supplies and tools I need and all that before I start practicing. You explain everything so well. Honestly out of everything I'm taken in and between notes and your videos, I feel super confident in doing it and eventually getting to where I wanna be at it but I swear the only thing I feel like will take me the longest to figure out is sewing it back together. I wish there was an in depth slow pace video that really shows the technique... How you start the thread and how to end it and everything in between. Anyways thanks for all the help and the tips and the time you take for all the newcomers who wanna learn.
I know what ya mean about how big the form is. I mounted a deer 2 year's ago on the same form. After it was done I measured below the white patch on the deer and it was 34". Absolute giant!
I can watch your taxidermy videos over and over again…… Love watching deer taxidermy !!!

So cool! Gigantic white tail deer, almost like a small elk! Great work of taxidermy. Thanks for sharing.
