Oh by leaps and bounds!! Hands down best instructions! I found this tutorial after attempting from a different tutorial and couldn’t get the caulk out of my cute dolly mold!!! This tutorial saved me from destroying another mold! Thank you thank you!! Definitely subbing + wish I could give it more thumbs up!!
Thank you ! - what a marvellous job you did ! - i have the same mold , and a white acrylic caulk , not the same make as yours , and the caulk started curing too fast before i had it in the mold ... then i couldn't get the caulk off the mold in between all 3 different molds so i ended up with a mess ;-( .... where did you buy your caulk ? - i'm in the uk but couldn't find the same one as yours and my scraper i think is too firm... it kept wiping the caulk out of the mold.... i'd love to be able to do this i think it's beautiful. thank you for this video , you're a pleasure to watch.
The best caulk I found for this was the one at .99p at B&Q. It stays much more flexible but doesn't stretch out of shape when you de-mould it. Try using an old bank card as a scraper and use a low angle so you're pushing it in the mould rather than scraping it out. Keep trying - and experimenting. The results are well worth it.
Hello your work is very beautiful and i really like it 👍🏻👍🏻 i just want to ask you if the material i have is valid to do this, i have Acrylic siliconized sealant does it work? and is this method applicable for deep molds? Not thin stencils please let me know ☺️
Curio By B-Spoke Designs thanks a lot for your reply, actually the mold i have is the baroque one I mean its not that deep but not thin as the stencils you used in the video
What is the name of the acrylic caulking you use? I live in Greece and tried a small pot of stucco but it came out very hard and broke while taking it out. In America they use a product called, Dap Alex Plus acrylic/latex with Silicone and from watching videos, it comes out of the mould just like the one you are using. Does yours have silicone in it and that's why it stays flexible? Any info would be much appreciated. Loved this video - no blabbing, just instructions, and no music - so distracting while someone is instructing! Also, have you got the link to the etsy shop where you bought your mold? I ordered small ones from etsy but I really would love to have large ones like yours. Thank you and be well.
J’ai essayé votre suggestion à la lettre. L’acrylique est resté collé dans le moule et il m’est impossible de le retirer….. conclusion, moule inutilisable. Je ne me ferai plus avoir par des tutoriels débiles😡
Thank you for sharing your process!
Thank you the best instruction video for this process, by far!!!
I'm glad you found it useful!

Can you tell me what glue to use with the appliques. I will be attaching them to a sequined backing. Thanks.
I use this for mixed media. I'm not sure this is good for using with fabrics.
Thanks for reply. Will try on a small piece. Its a jewellery box I'm making. Will let you know how it goes. Great tutorial.
new subscriber used to be a cake maker, now i know how to re-purpose all my mats and molds, thankyou
Thank you for the sub! I love to re-purpose, reuse and recycle.
This is cool
so beautiful. can it be used as a mat.. i mean can we put anything hot on it.. like hot pot of soup etc
I don't think this would be suitable for hot dishes.

This brand is not available in the U.S.. Does anyone know what will be an equivalent product in the U.S.?
Can we wash this lace
once it is cured you should be able to wipe it clean

Acrylic sealant should work fine but it's not suitable for use in deeper moulds as it never fully sets.

@@sajakhamis3127 It's worth trying it to see if it works
What adhesive do you use to adhere to a project?!
I just use PVA
Thank you! I had to look it up. Do you use a spray or do you use a brush. Really looking forward to giving these a try!@@CurioByBSpokeDesigns
@@karynwest6385 just a brush. PVA is school glue/Elmers/wood glue
Thank
you!@@CurioByBSpokeDesigns

This is known as decorator's caulk or acrylic caulk. It's flexible. Hope this helps
Does this ‘yellow’?
I’m not sure as I always paint over it

did you dust the mould first with cornflour?
@ oui j’ai exactement comme dans votre démonstration
Great idea but you take too long to do this video.
