My experience with the Rokform Pro Series Motorcycle Perch Mount and the Motorcycle Mount Vibration Dampener Version 2: Purchased and installed the set in July 2022 on my H-D CVO Triglide. I had an equipment failure on 19 May 2023. I was going 45 MPH on a relatively smooth winding road. I wasn’t paying any attention to my phone when suddenly I felt something hit my lap. I immediately thought it was a bird. I looked down and it was my iPhone with the locking device still connected to the phone case. The bracket was still intact on the handlebar. I immediately pulled over on the next street to recover from this. The mounting system separated in two. The little black rubber things were divided between both halves of the round locking device. Pardon my ignorance of the correct nomenclature. It appears the threaded bolt in the center either sheared or came loose and let go. I was very fortunate that the phone landed in my lap! I am a happy camper in that regard! I wrote the Rokform customer service and they immediately sent me a replacement set and a 10% off discount on my next purchase. The replacement set is different from my initial version, so I hope they have resolved the equipment failure that I encountered. Even with the unfortunate mishap, I still recommend the mount with dampener and I rate their customer service as top notch.
13,000 miles with my RokForm mount and 2,000 miles with the new damper attachment. No complaints so far, knock on wood. 👍

Iv done over 1000 miles on my Rockform mounts so far so good.

Can you use the rokform mount without the arm? Like does the vibration dampener screw directly to the base of the mount eg the perch mount
