Why Omega-3 Is Essential for Disease-Reversal & Health

  • Omega-3s are vital to creating your anti-inflammatory immune system and brain health. They are also essential for creating and repairing your cells via this mechanism that I describe in the clip from @hydtpodcast with Neena Dhanjal.
    .
In the natural world, if you were eating what grew on the land your whole life, you would have a healthy omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acid ratio.
    .
You would get some O3 from your leafy greens, and some O6 from nuts and seeds, and your health and immune system would be operating optimally.
    .
Unfortunately, most of us grew up LOADING UP on O6 from meat, dairy, eggs, and processed foods, and our paltry exposure to O3 was not sufficient to keep the balance.
    .
What is the result? Chronic disease.
    .
Our inflammatory immune system, driven by O6, became out of control.
    .
Our anti-inflammatory immune system, which depends on O3, barely active at all.
    .
Hyper-nourishment is the solution, and boy does it work quickly!
    .
Watch the FULL podcast by clicking this link: open.spotify.com/episode/4wnR...
(P.S. you can get O3 from algae too, but it is really hard to obtain in high doses, while you can get flax and chia from the supermarket!)

Conversion of alpha linolenic acid- the main omega 3 in flax and chia seeds- only have 2-5% conversion rate to EPA and even a lesser conversion to DHA. EPA and DHA are very important and a more potent anti-inflammatory than ALA. You need dha for the brain and for the fluidity of the cell membranes.

    Questions.
    1. Our ancestors, how did they obtain their omega 3 especially those living inland and not near coastline?
    2. Can you consume too much omega 3 and become out of balance that way instead of out of balance with too much omega 6?
    Thank you Dr G.

My guess would be bugs and small animals. Apparently looking at cavemen remains, when shoulder joint changed shape to be better at throwing rocks, our brain cavity increased meaning bigger brain. They said because we started throwing rocks at small animals in trees etc, im guessing from animal fat. Also I worked for a tree lopping company, I started reading a lot about eating insects, and I ate one once, took me ages to work up courage, after the first time I noticed if I saw a bug, the opposite would happen I would just think “hand, bug, mouth” as quick as a flash. Very odd. Maybe some primal circuit we all have in in our lizards brains (I think I read the structure of the rear brain is similar to that of a lizard and all the other parts are stacked on top.
I don’t know wether can eat to much, I haven’t read anything

What about EPA and DHA Omega 3 fatty acids? As far as I understand it, Chia and flax only contain ALA Omega 3s. And that doesn't convert into these other essential Omega 3s in a great enough number to avoid deficiency. Can you suggest where we're meant to get EPA and DHA from?

Absolutely agree with the vital necessity omega 3s are for human existance. But why on earth do you, ironically, ignore the big fat elephant in your room? Quality animal meat, fat, protein, sardines, butter, eggs, etc. are THE best sources of omega 3s and the most bioavailable in humans. Plants don't compare. You are doing a disservice to the public to a great degree by not discussing the best sources of nutrition on the planet. Why would you do such a thing?

    • @shatteringthematrix6959
      @shatteringthematrix6959 Рік тому

Animal based omega 3's is not in a favorable ratio with the omega 6 you get from it. You are getting far more omega 6 and other inflammatory compounds.. Hence why everyone and their mother is getting sick and eventually dying early eating those foods, unless they get on medication to artificially extend their lifespan from a lifetime of eating death chemistry... The comparison who is more sick/malnourished between carnists and vegans is not even quantifiably close. You need to go back to the drawing board.

@@johnshinski2994 Huh? Name negative baggage with quality animal products.
Negative baggage is in the foods our bodies cannot digest in any efficient manner and can be toxic because it doesn’t belong in our bodies. Namely nearly all plants and fiber. In ruminant bodies but not human bodies.
You are being mislead in a big way. Do more research. Btw, we just cleaned rust stains off my house with oxalic acid. Know where that comes from? Spinach, buckwheat, nuts, etc. Poisonous to human and create a kidney stones. But make sure you eat your dark leafy poisonous vegetables.
