Would you attempt to run 35's on a stock height 5th gen? Or would you rather retain all of your functionality?

This is the most wild Toyota TRD PRO 4Runner out there, we would love to see something as wild. - Авто та транспорт
This is seriously some of the best content on UA-cam rn 🔥
Much appreciated, we will keep it up!
Keep the content flowing! Loving it. Your channel will start growing exponentially I have no doubt.
Dude rockin' the Olukai 💪 yes they are slippers!
Love the improvements from video to video! Killing it!🔥🔥🔥
I think this highlights what a lot of people don't realize, especially about IFS trucks, is that lifting doesn't really allow for a taller tire. When you lift, the geometry of the suspension is basically unchanged. The arc of the arms is basically the same. All you really done is trade down-travel for up-travel.
I just put skinny 35x10s on my 4Runner, with a similar offset to this (mine are about -28mm) and I had to trim everything you did and even a bit more. I ended up taking an entire inch out of the top and an inch and half our of the back of the front fender. I chopped those brackets off that hold the bottom of the fender and made some new ones to mount further back.
I'm glad someone is doing work and taking the time to solve problems like this. We endorse you!
@@natedrives_ Thanks! It definitely took me a bit longer to work myself up to tataking angle grinder to a perfectly good fender it did for you lol 😆
bro you need to make a video of how you did everything, for people like us I'm between riding 35x10.5 or 285/75 in my 4runner without Spc UCA and I don't know which one to decide
This channel is so under rated. Keep up the great content and best of luck with all the projects
This is so good!! Anything is possible 🙌🏽
I need some of this dudes energy. Slayin' it.
enjoyed the video and yes they fit..nice
This feels exactly like Custom Offsets when they were starting out.
Stumbled your video and this channel researching what needs to be done to fit 35s. Just seeing you cut and chop with reckless abandon, I honestly cringed at first. Then I figure you're going to mod this more heavily hence the carefree attitude. That attitude is what I needed man! Just do it! Liked and Subbed!
I'm really glad you see where we were going with this lol. We will be shooting some more L2 content coming up, which means we can show how we really finished things up properly :)
Did you regear to compensate for the extra weight and rolling resistance ??
Brutal.....just Brutal.
Viper cut, C4 OTF, BMC, and 8.5 wide wheels with - offset for 4Runner pro on 35s
9 wide*
I loved this video. What is the status on the car?
I wanna run 35s on my second gen any info on that?
"A little bit down here"
* Pulls out massive sawzall *
This is awesome content bro. Keep it up!
We are staying strong for weekly releases!
Nate didnt even think twice about cutting the front bumper. Just grabbed the saw lol 🪚
Sometimes ain't nothin to it but to do it.
😅
lol geezus dude
Lol!! Literally what I did just to fit 34s. Ohh rubbing here grabs grinder and just start grinding/cutting away.
See, that's the spirit!
no body mount chop rubbing ?
What if you have wheel spacers 1.25”. I mean would they fit with that offset???
No, spacers will affect the scrub radius and you will have a harder time.
Which one would you recommend 🤣? 35x10.5r17 -12 offset or 285/75 -12 offsrt (4runner 5th gen w 3inch lift and RC UCA
Well it depends, did you do a body mount chop yet? As you'll need the chop for the 35's otherwise the 285's would be the easier fit.
@@natedrives_ I've already done the BMC (I do off-road but nothing crazy just easy trails) waiting for the lunar rock with the 2jz btw
@@neriomagilbray2566 Then 35's allllll day! We are inching closer, as soon as the engine is back we will be on a tear!
Try 72s with a 36 inch body lift.
Now you gotta send it 😂
This is the energy we want to promote lol
LFG
What did the door do to you 😂😂 bros slamming it
It wouldn't accomodate 35's on it's own 😅
Cringed when you pulled it out of the garage with the 35's on one side but stocks on the other lol fortunately you didnt go far.
this was a how to do a terrible BMC people dont do this PRO TIP
If you would like to eloborate, I would love to hear what you have to say.
literally cringed watching this. The thought of blindly hacking away at my Lunar Rock Runner to me is insane but hey got to stand out on UA-cam.
Well, when the viper cut got done to the first one it happened just not on camera. We will eventually clean this one up.
