I did a trip in the same location but in June. The biggest bonus is the Rainer Cherries were fully ripe and were being sold everywhere along the trip. Absolutely Delicious!
OC: I rode from DC to AZ on my Vulcan Vaquero back in 2015. Crossing the mighty Mississippi on my bike was truly awesome. I just got a Versys 1000 so I hope to make another long trip in the coming years.
Outstanding video content and great epic adventure ride. I am glad that you didn’t go into anaphylactic shock due the Bee 🐝 sting which could have been life threatening!!! I think you handled that situation quite well given the circumstances. My wife and I will watch this 🍿 a few times! Thanks for taking us along. 👍
OC: My biggest adventures have been road trips in cars (before I got into bikes). One across the USA from Michigan to Southern California, up to Vancouver, across to Calgary, through South Dakota, Iowa, and back through Michigan. A couple years later we did a similar style trip all over Europe. The idea of doing some adventures on a bike that can handle the touring with a pillion is amazing. My MT07 is useless for anything other than local rides. It is a great bike, but truly my first bike as I can't live with having such a limited distance simply from lack of comfort for me and my wife. But at least it has allowed my wife to fall in love with riding on a bike.
Great video! I have ridden from Indiana to Astoria and then south through many of the same areas down the Cali. It was by far my longest and best trip so far. I'm glad to see you had a great time.
Awesome - I just did Oregon to MN on a 17' Africa Twin. Took all the twisty mountain roads I could, but ended up riding through a lot more snow and rain than I had hoped but it was an absolute blast.
OC : my favorite thing I got to do was the WA BDR on my 2017 africa twin. It was my first time doing anything like that and the views while riding was something I will never forget
OC: Best thing I have ever done is the PCH from Ventura, CA up to the top of Washington. Did it in a Hyundai Elantra. I spent a day thinking that it would be cooler to do in a convertible or a sport car... but spent the next 2 days thinking about how much cooler it would be to do it on a motorcycle. That trip threw me back into the world of motorcycling and I'm grateful for it. Going to go give it another run on a VFR1200X in September. The west coast is fucking beautiful.. I can see why people want to live there
Best Adventure, always the last one i had, it was in New Brunswick on my 2016 honda crf 250l, around the abandoned rail track. Onto the next adventure. thank you for the great content, Ben had your link in his community page.
Looks epic! I just did a 700 mile trip from Winslow AZ to Las Vegas NV and back on my FZ07 with over 46k miles on it this past memorial day weekend and that was so much fun too. Surprisingly nothing went wrong at all. I did bring some extra tools to adjust my chain if needed but it held up great. My purple panda helmet mic may have crapped the bed because all my audio is full of static wind noise unfortunately but should make for some nice reel footage. Lol Definitely want to do the whole pacific coastal highway adventure someday 🏍💨🤙
What is the refresh rate of the TFT screen? Could you match your frame rate to the screen's refresh rate to eliminate flickering in your footage? Thank you.
Your allergies must not be too bad if you didn't need an epee pen (not sure how you spell that). I don't have bad allergies but my son's ex wife had severe allergies to mushrooms (fungal) and had to get a shoot and use allergy pills if exposed, so that sucks that people have to deal with that stuff. She kissed my boy after he ate a slice of pizza with mushrooms on it and had to rush to the hospital, she swelled up in minutes (tongue, lips and throat). People don't get how serious and life threating they can be! I like that you don't condone riding like a mad man (even though people like to have fun) and making motorcyclists look like respectable people that should be able to raise a respectable next generation! Too many hot heads and nit wits out there that don't respect others! P.S. wasn't trying to discount how bad your allergies are just saying that my ex daughter in law was really bad, maybe a neck gator would be a really good idea since bees are everywhere. Nice job on the video.
I do Typically keep an Epi Pen with me, but I had left it at the house when packing. I do keep some emergency medication with me in my backpack at all times. I hate to hear about folks with gnarly food allergies! I hope she is alright! I do my best to ride with respect for those around me, but yea every now and again its hard to not have fun! and I had not considered the neckgator idea.. great point! Glad you liked the video!
To be fair to the TourMaster Gloves I was using they are nearly 10 years old and have lived a rough life LOL so I cant blame them too much. But i understand your sentiment
I know this sounds harsh but, your face is getting way too much screen time. If you focus on the ride, the scenery and the bike instead of you, your productions would be of vastly better quality.

I’ve had that reaction to bugs in my helmet too Patty Rick 😂 Completely justified reaction.
I'm so happy you were able to go on this trip and experience this amazing country! Can't wait to see more Patrick!
Great ride! And, nicely done. Thank you!

As someone born and raised in Oregon it’s always interest hearing about it from and outside perspective.

I see what you guys were talking about at DGR. Lol 😉 Glad you got to go to Oregon! I've been there, it is by far the most beautiful state, IMO!

I want to ride my bike in scenic locations with my wife. Just gotta get a van that I trust enough for long road trips first

God Bless
We need more Patty content, please
i live in Bend Oregon would have been awesome to meet you guys
OC: I haven’t been on any adventures yet, but my wife’s friend wants us to take a trip to the Florida keys and ride around down there.
More patty rick
I thought I was gonna see review of a motorcycle. Not a travel vlog
Why not take the adventure about life itself. This can't be all, right?
There is purpose....try to think about it...❤❤

How was the highway stretch? Does the front ever feel floaty/unstable?

Hate these glove companies stating "Waterproof" & are clearly not!!! soon as the heavens open Your hands are soaked and freezing

A dude talking the whole time with little riding video. Explains the lowly 518 likes and 13k views.
CONGRATS on surviving a West Coast pull and maintaining your gender identity! Well, almost....
LOL i'm the same freedom loving goofball I was before I left!
I wish the africa twin was 5k
OC
Talked too much😢
Video taught me that most of Oregon is “super cute”🤣
