In the early years Terry Kilgore gave Eddie VH guitar lessons. We became friends with him, me Tim Neisen my brother Sam Neisen thru Taylor Yewell. Taylor got Terry to give my brother Sam guitar lessons. He's partied at me and my brothers house on White St. right by InandOut Burger in Pasadena 85 thru 93 . Also our other close friends who all hung out in the Monrovia, Arcadia Pasadena, Sierra Madre area was and still are Art Melillo, Bob Clark, Peter Burke & the Late Walt Woodward the 3rd. Plus many others.
In 1969-1970 Iused to live at “Wormwood “ the little one bedroom flat owned by Solomon Felthouse with my roomate at the time , John Parker of Yeti Bikes. I think David Lindley lived there before us .
I started playing in 83 and I noodle exactly like that. I swear I remember him passing through East Texas must have been 83 or 84 and for whatever reason showed up in my house and showed me some licks I think he rented a trailer next to my house. I could be dead wrong. Gave me a leather strap which is long gone. I wish I knew who that was.
Someone with access to some Redi-Killowatt recordings that Terry Kilgore did back in 1977-80 please post them. Particularly "Liquid Lady" and "Moyenne". I miss those backyard parties !!
he played our backyard party as Reddi Killowat mid -80s. liquid lady was bad ass. shouldv'e made mad stacks like fellow pasadena boy Eddie VH. major underachiever. someone needed to tell him to just shut up and play. he was his own worst enemy.
You are watching the part of the untold living history (Legend) of Guitar Players of the 1970's to present day (and from Pasadena CA).....anymore vids maybe early performances out there?

@2216sammy Friends say that about friends to help promote their careers, and to keep friendships going. Especially if your friends are very successful. But don't tell my friends, because I tell them all the time that they're the best. But that's just between you and I.
Not only is he a brilliant guitar player; he can OUT TALK anyone that I have ever heard in my life!!!! **J/K , nah actually this man can seriously .on just about any topic. :-)
I wish Eddie had that same enthusiasm still, but he just wants to carry around his wife's dog. Maybe he'll get it back and save Rock for the second time in 40 years.
Terry's quote from the metroamp forum: "i think mike f. is the best thing that ever happened to 65 amps they are so sensitive queer now" Mike is a great guy and an incredible amp engineer/tech...
Love his playing on "Liquid lady" great feel!

Nonsense. Ed hung with Terry. No lessons. Just friendship.
Let just say, I was there a lot of the time.

Him and EVH drinking beer, jamming then bouncing riffs off the wall, must have been cool AF
This was a fantastic demo.
There was humor and yet he still managed to show us how phenomenal the amp sounds.

Redi killowatt. Oo oo oh I wonder. Great times.
Terry, do you remember the wine red LP you sold a bass player in '78 or '79?
I wish Eddie had that same enthusiasm still, but he just wants to carry around his wife's dog. Maybe he'll get it back and save Rock for the second time in 40 years.
Terry's a riot;)
"Less talk, more fuckin' playing!" LMAO!!!!
Just noodling on blues, you can tell he's something special! It's not always what you play, but the way you play it can make all the difference.
