I agree Agutter and York looked age-appropriate, but TBH I've never thought Jordan looked too old. Maybe I've known a lot of hirsute guys. In The Friends of Eddie Coyle a few years earlier, I thought he looked around 23.
@@UpInTheAtticJSW I can see Jordan as looking young for 38 by 1970s standards and passing for under 30 then. I think I first watched the entire movie around 2000 and thought he looked old for the part at the time.
Agutter was 23 when she was cast and York was 33 but passed OK for under 30. Richard Jordan looked every day of his 38 years in the movie.

@@dlxmarksYou've hit on the answer. I was 14 when I saw it on TV in 1980. Everyone over 16 looked old to me.
Logan's run is one of my favorite movies. Mainly because it was set in the future.
I'm a sucker for any movie set in the future.
I guess that we can be trusted at least twice-over eh JSW. Enjoyed this (a lot) back in the day and your take on it. Thanks again.
I dunno what you mean, I'm 14. (We are talking IQ, right?)
