Wow, I feel the release in my neck, shoulders, and lower back actually. All the way down along my spine feels freee. I really needed this! My throat chakra has been blocked my entire life. I have very early childhood trauma, back to infancy, before I had spoken language. I am in a time of deep healing, as I am a teacher and have the summer to breathe. I had such difficulty with this Kriya. I used my breath, but there were times I just had to stop and breathe. I love all of your videos, and enjoy trying a new one each day. However, I think I need to stay with this one on a daily basis until I can feel the flow I feel with the other Kriyas. Thank you for giving this to me and to all! Your work is vital! Even as I write this, I am sobbing as I continue to release. I send gratitude and love to you! You are a treasure!💜

My hands were vibrating with so much energy when I held the Venus mudra behind while doing the chin-tucked-in Kriya.. When I released I felt like my hands exploding with energy! I hope this helps in preventing the excess mucus getting clogged in my throat which always irritates me when I chant mantras during prayer... Thank you so much Ma! 😇🙏❤️

Dear Yogigems. That was the shortest 40 minutes in my life. Although my cow does not stare at the ceiling. She can bearly see the top of the wall😅 Thank you for this class. I absolutely adore ALL of your classes....however if I made share some of my own personal feedback. I wish the shavasanna was completely silent. I always find that the constant chatter during that time takes away from me sinking deeply into relaxation. thank you for sharing such beautiful teachings. So grateful.

Hi @yogigems First of all, thank you for making this video. I accidentally awakened my kundalini 2 years ago, and since then it has been "stuck" in my throat chakra. As a result, I experienced loss of vocal range stemming from muscle tension dysphonia (in my case, paralysis in my right vocal cord, made worse when I'm confronted with stress). Today, I stumbled upon this video, figured I should give it a shot and I do notice some relief. Committing to 10 days of this, for starters. Hoping to extend my commitment to 120 days just as Lori Brown did. I hope this aids in my recovery. Any additional tips are welcome. Thank you once again.

If you feel this kriya resonates with you, you can choose to practice it every day, initially for 40 days, to support your thyroid (if that feels right for you). Breath - inhale and exhale - in kundalini yoga is through the nose unless specified otherwise. I hope that helps. I feel my neck is ungripping while practicing yoga. I hope it will also help me communicate my ideas, insights or problems more clearly. I still feel stuck in this matter and believe that an internal blockage and pressure have contributed to my hypothyreosis. So many of us carry tension and trauma in the throat chakra / vissudha area, and you have an anchor for your healing focus with your thyroid. Chanting and/or singing are also wonderful practices for healing vissudha, and also shoulder stand - however, if it's your first time, please have a yoga teacher support you with this posture. What a beautiful , clearing and nourishing kriya ❤ thank you Yogigems 🙏🏻 I was hoping to get some guidance from you regarding one of the exercises - when we stretched out legs out in front and leaned back on our hands with our head pulled back and eyes to the ceiling, I found this very painful. I could not let go of the tension in my neck fully because it would have caused severe pain. However holding my heavy head was getting more and more difficult throughout the practice and I couldn't hold it the entire time. Do you have any suggestions for alternates or modifications to this exercise? Maybe I'm not doing it properly.
Thank you for sharing your challenge with this one, dear Monica. For this practice, lift the heart, tuck the chin in so there's still an activation in the throat, but at the back of it rather than the front. Roll the eyes up to look at the ceiling - of course, it won't be a direct gaze, but the intention is there. The spine is straight, back of neck is long and there should be no strain in the neck in this posture. If you take it on for a 40-day practice, take your chin up a millimetre every day, if it feels OK to do so. Stay within your comfort zone. I hope that helps. Any more questions, please let me know. Thank you, dear Vivienne, if it helps you focus, keep the tip of the tongue to the space behind the two front teeth at the gum line. The breath is deep belly where possible - although with the dynamism of the practice, it is not always possible. All of your practices are wonderful and glad I found your channel! I have a personal feedback - all of your encouragements are helpful, however, you speak throughout the entire pose or meditations even that are supposed to be silent. I assume they are for beginners, but even beginners need spaces of silence to begin to explore inwardly. I'm not suggesting you stop speaking as I do love what you say! I just think a little more space between encouragements and directions would give room for inner exploration.

I really needed this! My throat chakra has been blocked my entire life. I have very early childhood trauma, back to infancy, before I had spoken language. I am in a time of deep healing, as I am a teacher and have the summer to breathe. I had such difficulty with this Kriya. I used my breath, but there were times I just had to stop and breathe. I love all of your videos, and enjoy trying a new one each day. However, I think I need to stay with this one on a daily basis until I can feel the flow I feel with the other Kriyas.

My hands were vibrating with so much energy when I held the Venus mudra behind while doing the chin-tucked-in Kriya.. When I released I felt like my hands exploding with energy! I always find that the constant chatter during that time takes away from me sinking deeply into relaxation. thank you for sharing such beautiful teachings. So grateful.

Hi @yogigems First of all, thank you for making this video. I accidentally awakened my kundalini 2 years ago, and since then it has been "stuck" in my throat chakra. As a result, I experienced loss of vocal range stemming from muscle tension dysphonia (in my case, paralysis in my right vocal cord, made worse when I'm confronted with stress). Today, I stumbled upon this video, figured I should give it a shot and I do notice some relief. Committing to 10 days of this, for starters. Hoping to extend my commitment to 120 days just as Lori Brown did. I hope this aids in my recovery. Any additional tips are welcome. Thank you once again.

If you feel this kriya resonates with you, you can choose to practice it every day, initially for 40 days, to support your thyroid (if that feels right for you). Breath - inhale and exhale - in kundalini yoga is through the nose unless specified otherwise. I hope that helps. I feel my neck is ungripping while practicing yoga. I hope it will also help me communicate my ideas, insights or problems more clearly. I still feel stuck in this matter and believe that an internal blockage and pressure have contributed to my hypothyreosis. So many of us carry tension and trauma in the throat chakra / vissudha area, and you have an anchor for your healing focus with your thyroid. Chanting and/or singing are also wonderful practices for healing vissudha, and also shoulder stand - however, if it's your first time, please have a yoga teacher support you with this posture. What a beautiful , clearing and nourishing kriya ❤ thank you Yogigems 🙏🏻 I was hoping to get some guidance from you regarding one of the exercises - when we stretched out legs out in front and leaned back on our hands with our head pulled back and eyes to the ceiling, I found this very painful. I could not let go of the tension in my neck fully because it would have caused severe pain. However holding my heavy head was getting more and more difficult throughout the practice and I couldn't hold it the entire time. Do you have any suggestions for alternates or modifications to this exercise? Maybe I'm not doing it properly.
Thank you for sharing your challenge with this one, dear Monica. For this practice, lift the heart, tuck the chin in so there's still an activation in the throat, but at the back of it rather than the front. Roll the eyes up to look at the ceiling - of course, it won't be a direct gaze, but the intention is there. The spine is straight, back of neck is long and there should be no strain in the neck in this posture. If you take it on for a 40-day practice, take your chin up a millimetre every day, if it feels OK to do so. Stay within your comfort zone. I hope that helps. Any more questions, please let me know. Thank you, dear Vivienne, if it helps you focus, keep the tip of the tongue to the space behind the two front teeth at the gum line. The breath is deep belly where possible - although with the dynamism of the practice, it is not always possible. All of your practices are wonderful and glad I found your channel! I have a personal feedback - all of your encouragements are helpful, however, you speak throughout the entire pose or meditations even that are supposed to be silent. I assume they are for beginners, but even beginners need spaces of silence to begin to explore inwardly. I'm not suggesting you stop speaking as I do love what you say! I just think a little more space between encouragements and directions would give room for inner exploration.
