This video was a life saver!! I watch 3 different florists' videos tell me it's the most complicated bouquet, don't make it the first one you ever do, and definitely don't do it on your wedding day. I checked all 3 boxes for my daughter's big day and was so nervous my hands were shaking when wrapping the wires. It turned out absolutely spectacular, thanks to this video, and my daughter loved it!
@@karend7936 thank you so much! I must admit it’s not something everyone can make off the cuff - and for an important day it’s worth having practise sessions before if you don’t normally make them. But it’s not impossible and you just need to work in a logical and tidy way - with some relaxing music and no distractions 😀 so well done - I think if you are a hand skilled person then that helps - like have cake decorating or embroidery skills up your sleeve!

I love your tutorial! Very clear and neat. Planning to make one for my sister's wedding in March, that is why i search for cascade bouquet and it lead to your video! Thank you for the tips! Hope to make a nice one like yours. Much love from Brunei Darussalam 🇧🇳
Rabiatul Iswandi thank you for the comments - glad you liked the video. If you haven’t made this before then definately worth practising in advance, just to get the feel for it. Good luck and enjoy making one.
Thank you for your reply! And may I know, it have to make a day before the wedding right? And how do i keep it fresh and water it? I went to a basic florist workshop last month for a basket flower, but i just water the oasis foam daily (since its big). Not sure for this type
Rabiatul Iswandi if you can make on the day it’s best, or the afternoon or night before. For water the foam is wet, but when finished I would mist the bouquet and pop in a box with a cover of cellophane to keep in some humidity. Place somewhere cool and safe. The next morning check it and re-mist. That’s really all you can do.
Absolutely beautiful with a very calm ,clear and concise explanation of how to create a cascading bouquet. I have been asked to do one for a summer wedding but on a larger scale so this has been a fantastic lesson for me to use as my starting point. Thanks so much 👍👍👍👍👍

I’ve never seen that method of worrying callas before, it’s brilliant! I always have used an ungodly amount of stem-lock, which smells awful. I’m absolutely doing this method from now on!
valliebeth thank you! It’s s ideal for this type of bouquet - but it can affect a stem as you are damaging it, so best to do on the day or the afternoon before. I tend to have everything except the bouquet made the day before, then do this on the morning ( when I am feeling revitalised! ) have a little practise with the odd stem. 😀🙋🏼♂️ I must give credit to Johan Huismann who taught me this at a wedding workshop. 😀
Once again, thanks for a wonderful tutorial - brilliant explanation and great filming. I really look forward to watching your videos and then trying it myself.

This bouquet is absolutely beautiful!! Thank you for the tutorial, really fun to watch you create it. I’m getting married this May (yay!!) and am considering a cascade bouquet!
Love this John. I’ve only tried one shower just with some left overs I had, but will try again. It was really difficult to balance the holder just in a vase once it gets front-heavy so maybe time to invest in something similar to yours 🌺
Love your aesthetics!..and you're absolutely right putting the flowers in first then the greenery. It's easier to frame them.
