'She [the Queen] gave everything on behalf of her people' which 'included the people of Aotearoa, New Zealand', Ardern said during a press conference. Ardern said she had learned of the Queen’s death when a 'police officer shone a torch into my room at around 10 to five this morning'.
The PM said she had been reading about the queen’s ill health before going to bed, so 'when that torchlight came into my room I knew immediately what it meant'. Queen Elizabeth had given Ardern - who was the first world leader in recent years to give birth while in office - advice about balancing leadership with raising children, Ardern said. 'I learned much from observing her.'

@@Paulstrickland01 I disagree, I think it was hard regardless of her wealth. FYI, the monarchy is valued at around $88bn (less than Musk, Buffet, Bezos, Gates etc...) the Queens personal fortune estimated at £500M but when you look into it it gets quite complicated
It does still feel like a shock even knowing her age and ill health. May she Rest In Peace after her utter devotion. What an incredible blessing she was 💔

New Zealand is a great country as a British citizen I have been lucky enough to visit that amazing country and I would encourage anyone to visit!!!. They're so welcoming and polite. They immediately know your british and it adds to the humour but in general, although they're 8000 miles away .... it just feels like home its incredible tbh.
