An excellent, heart felt speech. I’ve had the privilege of meeting Charles on a few occasions, my father played polo with him and from everything I know, he will serve this country with dignity and very much from the heart. He is a man that truly cares rather than just going through the motions. We’re lucky to have him
I didn’t think it would affect me the way it has. There’s been a lump in my throat since yesterday and many tears. I already miss her so much. The world lost someone so special yesterday. 😢❤️
A wonderful speach and a great tribute to his late mother. It was genuine, honest, full of love and to the point. I wish our politicians could be this plain spoken. Maybe it's just me but I think our King connected more with his peoples in his speach than our political leaders ever have between them. It must be so difficult for him to assume his new role and take on the huge responsibility of becoming our new monarch while grieving for the loss of his mother. Utmost respect for King Charles III. Thoughts are with our King and his family at this sad time.
I'm Canadian, She will be greatly missed by all Canadians young and old and a great lost to our head of state and our commonwealth, I cannot express the lost because of how much she meant... but her steadiness over my lifetime and the check and balances she provided, she was our nation's grandmother and taught us from afar... she will be greatly missed, in this uncertain time. Our hearts are with our brothers and sisters across the world. My thoughts and prayers are with his Majesty the King and his family. God save the King!
End of an epoch. We are no longer Elizabethans. I stood at the shore of the Deben at Melton today across the river from Sutton Hoo. Where the people would have dragged King Raedwald's ship up to the burial site in 624AD. Whatever your thoughts on the monarchy, in 1500 years, our queen will too be remembered. This is our history.
Excellent and touching speech. I am from Brazil, but I like the stories of the monarchies, especially the French and the English. I hope Charles III will show himself as a great leader.

A very touching, full of love and admirations of King Charles III to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. I remember King Charles III humor addressing the queen "Her Majesty Mommy" is so adorable, and it always made me smile everytime I remember those speeches. But as he spoke today and when he said "to my darling mama" my tears just fell. I can feel the very deep sorrow from his voice. God Save the King.
That ending got me as well. When His Majesty said, "And, to my darling mamma," it might be hard to notice if you weren't paying attention, but I did hear his voice crack just a little. A truly beautiful speech from you, Your Majesty. God save the king.

I had my doubts, but if Charles continues to be as well-spoken, thoughtful and sensitive in the future as he was in this speech, I think he'll do a fine job.
That was an amazing speech. This feels so much like when King George VI died. Though I wasn’t born then, from the videos and documentaries I have seen, it is clear that this new era will be a brilliant one. His speech was beautiful. He knows he must do what his amazing mother did when her father died: take responsibility and lead your country and union. It’s a responsibility and honour. Do the job responsibly, and then take in the honour. Never the other way round. Responsibility is the predecessor to honour and respect. Long live King Charles II. May he be eventful and prosperous in his new era, as this is Britain: and he is now Britain’s advocate for everything.

God has the Queen. She has devoted her whole life to The United Kingdom. May she rest in peace and see Prince Philip again. Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen of Britain, the queen of the world and now, a Queen in heaven. 🌟🇬🇧
My condolences from the Netherlands🖤.
God save the king🇬🇧❤️
Queen of the world she most definitely was. I hope she and Philip are reunited. So thankful they were here. God most definitely has the Queen

And you know this how...??!
Tell us how it does work then genius ...?
From Indiana, USA. We morn with all of you. The Queen was a beacon of light. That light still shines bright within you and the rest of your family. May she R.I.P. God save the new King, Charles the third
Meanwhile King Biden is an absolute laughing stock 🙈
A most moving and heartfelt speech. God save The King!
Boy that was emotional. What a wonderful speech and so well put across. The Kings eyes looked to turn so red as he spoke of hi Mama and Papa at the end. So very moving.
This speech touch my heart. King Charles is an excelent human be. God bless him.
An excellent, heart felt speech. I’ve had the privilege of meeting Charles on a few occasions, my father played polo with him and from everything I know, he will serve this country with dignity and very much from the heart. He is a man that truly cares rather than just going through the motions. We’re lucky to have him
Your mother was a very beautiful and gracious lady. I will miss her very much.God bler her soul!
Rest in peace your majesty, I'm an Aussie but I would always pledge to follow the royal family. God save the king.
I didn’t think it would affect me the way it has. There’s been a lump in my throat since yesterday and many tears. I already miss her so much. The world lost someone so special yesterday. 😢❤️
Hey how are you doing today..?
A wonderful speach and a great tribute to his late mother. It was genuine, honest, full of love and to the point. I wish our politicians could be this plain spoken. Maybe it's just me but I think our King connected more with his peoples in his speach than our political leaders ever have between them. It must be so difficult for him to assume his new role and take on the huge responsibility of becoming our new monarch while grieving for the loss of his mother. Utmost respect for King Charles III. Thoughts are with our King and his family at this sad time.
Hello how are you doing..?
You realize he has speech writers? How about calling a referendum and we’ll see how good this man is.
A wonderful speech by King Charles III.
Did he write it himself?
@@babblo1389 nope, some speechwriters did and he’s well trained in the art coming over all sincere via camera. The simps lap it up as expected
Beautiful speech, brilliantly delivered 👏 ❤️
God Safe the King!
The king is definitely well-spoken, a good quality to have
Especially when you are dressing down your servants and perpetuating the class system.
It still seems unreal. Much hope and best wishes for your nation moving forward🥹👑
Accept lot of Condolences from Pakistan.🇵🇰
End of an epoch.
We are no longer Elizabethans.
I stood at the shore of the Deben at Melton today across the river from Sutton Hoo. Where the people would have dragged King Raedwald's ship up to the burial site in 624AD.
Whatever your thoughts on the monarchy, in 1500 years, our queen will too be remembered.
This is our history.
He pitched this perfectly
Excellent and touching speech. I am from Brazil, but I like the stories of the monarchies, especially the French and the English. I hope Charles III will show himself as a great leader.
That speech was very poised and well spoken. Actually makes me feel proud for some reason... it made me miss my Mom also.
Sincere and heartfelt. Even naysayers were moved and impacted. God bless the King, and may he thrive in his attempts to uphold the ideals we all hold to be noteworthy and just.
What a tribute from a man who truly loved his mother. May God grant him health, strength, courage and wisdom in the days, weeks and years ahead. Long live King Charles 3rd.
Sending so much love, light, and comforting energy and prayers to the family and all of the people of England and the Commonwealth. From Virginia
That was a really good speech I must say very genuine balanced and heartfelt
A very touching, full of love and admirations of King Charles III to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. I remember King Charles III humor addressing the queen "Her Majesty Mommy" is so adorable, and it always made me smile everytime I remember those speeches. But as he spoke today and when he said "to my darling mama" my tears just fell. I can feel the very deep sorrow from his voice. God Save the King.
Eloquently stated and poignant heartfelt speech in memoriam. Sending deepest of condolences. God Save the King
Rest in peace queen Elizabeth 2nd
You will be missed
Thank you..for everything
And i hope the king can do just as well
only by idiots
Proud to count myself as one of their subjects, God Save The King! And SO glad to have been a subject of her Majesty the Queen!:(
That ending got me as well. When His Majesty said, "And, to my darling mamma," it might be hard to notice if you weren't paying attention, but I did hear his voice crack just a little. A truly beautiful speech from you, Your Majesty. God save the king.
2021: 41-gun salute for Prince Philip
2022: 96-round gun salute for Queen Elizabeth II
What a wonderful speech, despite the sadness we all share. God save the King. Greetings from Germany.
Was a lovely speech, a wonderful tribute. Doesn't matter if one is royalty or like the masses, losing one's Mother is a heartbreak. May your Family, your Country find solace in the fact that she's at peace.
The perfect speech. It took great strength to address the nation, after such sadness at the passing of our Queen.
God save the Queen, long live the King.
RIP QUEEN ELIZABETH II, YOU truly will be missed. Long live the King. God Bless you
There is a man that is truly heartbroken. God save the King.
I had my doubts, but if Charles continues to be as well-spoken, thoughtful and sensitive in the future as he was in this speech, I think he'll do a fine job.
He is a waste of good space and a jerk
God save the King. Truly, an end of an era and a new beginning.
Queen Elizabeth will be missed all over the world. She has done so much good in her life, and I am convinced that King Charles will follow her example. He found exactly the right words today. God bless the King!
Hello how are you doing today..?
Most moving and inspiring tribute, full of love, gratitude and recognition for the umparelled life-long service and example of Your Majesty The Queen to the Royal Family and the Commonwealth of Nations. God save The King Charles III.
What a wonderful , insightful speech. He has been preparing for this role for 70 aprox years . I think he will be a good king , with his wife by his side , and his son William, the monarchy will march forth with good mindful changes which should make everyone take him seriously .
This is the first time I've ever heard his voice. It's so posh and refined. Sorry to hear about your Queen. She was a great woman.
My condolences for the Queen's family and for all those she served.
My heart breaks for the king’s family, and all the nations that were impacted by this loss to all of people that called her Queen. From around the world we give our deep condolences.
I’ve never heard him. He has an amazing voice.
Where have you been hiding?
Is this the first time anyone else has actually heard him speak? I'll be honest....he kinda shocked me with his eloquence and sincerity. I"m more hopeful then before watching this, that he'll actually rise up to the challenge and might actually do a great job. I'm rooting for you KCIII
Beautiful message 🙏🕊
Whoa....I don't know how he did that, I lost my mother a year ago and can barely mention her without becoming a gibbering wreck. He has a regal strength like his mum.
Rest in peace Queen Elizabeth
Long live the King Charles
An excellent speech from the King.
An excellent mother Elizabeth and the Queen Elizabeth II ❤️ my deepest condolences to the Family and People of Great Britain. I believe and I am sure King will rule the country as his mother did and he will do the best. We love you and this love from Khazakhstan and Russia.
God save the King!
Beautiful speech and must have been so hard for Charles. You can see in his eyes that he has shed many tears since the loss of his beloved mother.
Had me in tears towards the end. God save the King.
Rest In Peace Queen
So beautiful. I lost my grandma last year and she was the queen to my family. A year later now, I can really soak this in and see the reality of life. Thank you 💗
A very moving speech. Queen Elizabeth II will be a hard act to follow but King Charles III will do an excellent job I think. We are living through history.
It's a very sad time but this speech is a much-needed boost of optimism. Charles will be a fantastic king. Just as there have always been, strong leadership is ahead.
The end of this speech was absolutely heartbreaking. Charles drew on decades of nobility to hold back his tears. Long live the king.
He probably hit the gin with a vengeance. I can't say I would have blamed him
From America. We are with you in mourning. May the Beautiful Queen Rest in Peace!
I think he is going to be an excellent king. I think he is a sensitive human being, totally underrated. I stay on my words he is going to do a great job
Long live the King.
So very sorry for your loss Dear King Charles III.
May you live long to remember your Dear most beloved Mother. 🙏💔
Beautiful and heartfelt speech. Long live the King!
That was such an heartwarming speech. It was a wonderful tribute to his mother and a great queen.
The ending 😭💔. Made me think of my own beloved mommy and her loss. She was my Queen
Nailed it
