Bought one and hooked it up to my home theater 1200 watts with this 1800 watts on a ported box got my neighbors windows shaking when bumping loud had a 1200 watt Kenwood no bass and low rms couldnt feel the bass shaking the ground sounded bad when I would play music and the bass would hit it just wouldnt give any dump vibration as it should. Not bad for the price let's just see how long it will last.
I had 2 of them on 1000w they sounded great in my wagon but they didn't have space to load in my sedan, you will need at minimum 1500w of clean power for them to eat
F*** no, those planet audio subs are probably way closer to 500 Watts RMS. When you buy really cheap subs like this, its best to get the amp in the same series. If not, try to find a Dyno test for the amp that's made in the same series to have a better idea of what that cheap sub can actually handle.
Did you have the sub wired at 2ohms and has it still lasted i herd you half to give quarter power rated of 1800 like 450rms before they burn up coils did yours still bump on that 600rms amp?
Yeah it was wired at 2oms I ended up getting 2 of them in ported box with 1500w alpine amp an they bump great for 7 months I sold the truck now so I don’t have a project car to put them in yet
I have 2 15s in a sealed box sound great on hip hop rap rock. I love sealed or ib or 4th order over ported or 6st order but thats just me. Sealed can play anything depending on box size you run it in and poly fill if trying to save space
Put that in a ported box you will shit! I tryed a sealed box and it sucked no volume and lapped up all the wattage and wanted more I ditched it and got an "SPL" ported box (it did have a long transition line) off Amazon for $56 and WOW waaaay louder and waaaay deeper sounding.
Blue the Wolf I got 2 of these subs an a ported box used them for a month an they worked great there just collecting dust in my shed now I sold the truck an haven’t had the time to put them in one of my other cars but I think I wanna get something better now
Got 2 of them in a ported box an never blew them I got another truck I’m going to do something different I’m going back to the 12inch power acrostic gothic subwoofers they slam hard way better then this planet audio sub
These subs are way overrated, 900w rms is a fantasy, not bad for 50 bucks each. But I have a set hooked up to a single channel wired to 4 ohms on a crown xls 1002 power amp crossed at 75hz. They can hardly hold a real 300 rms together in a vented box, especially when playing rebass content. They should just honestly rate these things at 125 rms each, at tuning frequency which is 32hz in my 3.2 cubic ft box, they do tend to get a bit smelly and can hardly hold it. When i play stuff a bit lower to allow them to unload slightly, they can take it because of the extra air flow, but only just barley. When I bridged this amp, and tried pushing a real 900w rms though them, i almost blew them even after a lengthy break in period of a few weeks, only after about 40 seconds of seeing that power did i almost blow them, even though the power was clean. Whoever designed these needs a new job lmao. Get a set of dc audio level 1 12" subs, for 150 a piece, they will really handle 300 w rms each, perhaps even a bit more if the power is very clean, even just one would blow the doors off of a set of these. Even a set of bottom end budget jl audio w0's would far surpass these paper weights. These are simply terrible. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, even on a buget. In a seald box, i couldn't imagine it hold more than 90 - 100w rms continuous for long stretches of time...
I'm thinking about buying for these in a speaker box already made for 4. That's for 12 1800 wats for only $300 is that good or is that too much I'm buying it off Facebook I'm going to connect to nemesis 2000 Watts apiece to it . Do you think they could take the power and sound good in the Suburban
I really like your car reviews man! Keep up the good work!!
Thanks man I appreciate it I'm trying to find me a good camera to make more quility videos an how to videos I wanna start posting more.
I Can't wait for the new videos!!!

Subs are the only reason I listen to hip hop ha
Same lol
Best genre of music to ride to period if you have a subwoofer and amplifier set up in your car!
You don't need to listen to crap err I mean rap just to get bass. Hell Limp Bizkit Behind Blue Eyes will rumble with the right set up
@@adamslemp9398 haha that's a good one. I like to play old favorites from back in the day.
I like chill lofi type beats
What's the best amp to push 4 Plant Audio 15' s, I kno I should be slapping way harder than what I am
I had 2 of them on 1000w they sounded great in my wagon but they didn't have space to load in my sedan, you will need at minimum 1500w of clean power for them to eat
What wire did you run from the sub to the box?
It was wired at 2ohm
which amplifier did you use?
I used the apine mrdm605 v12 series amp
How many watts should I use RMS on a PA 15? Using a Skar amp.
Whatever it's rated for.
@@Robthevillain
So they can stand up to real wattage of a Rockford Fosgate or a Rockville amp?

Sealed boxes are for rock and jazz not hip hop or rap lol change the box and it will sound way better
I know that but that’s the box I had at the time I got 2 of these subs in a ported box now

You can hit hard as well with sealed boxes.
Is the bass good?
When I got a ported box it sounded good

@@Chris-lk3zu don't do it. No point in buying 4 cheap subs when you can use that money towards 1 or 2 better sounding and high end subs.
