Yeah mainly bought this truck because it is 4x4 so It will hold its value more also I do plan on taking it to Colorado in the winter I wanted a new travel vehicle I plan on getting a black camper shell for this truck also in the future.

@@Erik-t7h yeah it definitely got better air flow it ran better I still got my ranger I just bought a 2023 nissan frontier king cab with 3.8L 310hp an 9speed transmission 4x4 an man that thing feels just as fast as my 09 gt mustang them frontiers are quick

@@kamryn7496 yeah I like a frontier . Even the 2016ish ones are great they got more room than a Tacoma . I know somebody that has a 4 runner a 18 model . It's disappointing really interior is cramped not a lot of power hard on gas

Haven't used the ranger in 3 weeks but it still runs perfect I bought a 2023 nissan frontier s king cab 4x4 I'll be making a video on that soon

Thanks yeah definitely came along way now that I fixed it all up the way I wanted it now I’m looking to buy a new truck soon can’t decide on getting a eco boost ranger Nissan frontier or a Tacoma not sure

@@2H2521 no the ranger is still my daily driver I thought about it but after looking at all my receipts it’s not worth selling it as I got almost 13k into the old ranger

@@kamryn7496 Yeah, I think I’d just keep it then, especially if you’ve got that much into it. I just thought maybe you sold it since you said you were looking at those other trucks. Plus I honestly think what you have is better than any of those others, I have a ‘99 Ranger too, it’s green.

I don’t have any of thouse issues you might want to make sure if who ever installed yours make sure they didn’t run the RCAS close to the power wire that will be the cause of your noise interference

I have the pop but not the hiss. I tried power settings delay on to ten seconds and still the pop.

No problem I spent hours trying to figure this hour an no one else made a video on it showing you how to save the presents I figured I'd save everyone else the headache.

I didn't keep the seats all the way back it had some room

I don't recommend it I wish I would of just kept my original one I'm on my 3rd warranty replacent an it's trash the transmission is now making alot of noise when it heats up its leaking alot of atf from the input shaft seal before an after I replace the seal it's still leaking an some times it randomly won't go into first gear witch in stop an go traffic it gets annoying this transmission the 3rd replacement failed right after the warranty ended I'm now just going to hope I can get few more months out of it an just buy a new truck I'm done messing with it.

@@kamryn7496 I wanted to get their R150F for my Tacoma but I highly doubt the quality is any better.

@@nicholaswootten7275 yeah no problem I would recommend getting a transmission from oreilly powertorque they have better workmanship an warranty on there reman stuff I have a powertorque long block in this ranger it runs like new. I'm still going to hang onto it I'm sure I'll find a good used transmission to toss in it.

On my 3rd replacement it is leaking atf from inputshaft seal I replaced it an it still leaks also my guess is input shaft barring must be bad when my transmission heats up after driving it for 10 minutes it starts making alot of noise from the bell housing sounds like a bad barring. They don't know how to rebuild these things. My 3rd replacement transmission is trash an just starting having issues right after Warranty ended.

Just took my focus to vegas surprisingly it did great now has 138k not sure what was causing this weird idle issue it seem to stop

I've already did that before I made this video I put a k&n intake on it an clan the throttle body before I put it on few months later I started having this issue

I know I had that Rockville amp that was just collecting dust I used it untill I got a better amp

Probably because it don't have a coolant gadge? Usually cars that don't have one a frost light on there dashboard will turn on when you cold start a car until it warms up

I do sometimes if it detects to much load on the engine usually climbing up a steep hill in 5th the cruse controll will turn off letting u know to downshift
