China followed the footsteps of Japan and South Korea and became manufacturing hub of the world, there used to be a time when japanese and South koreans used to rule the manufacturing sector, today even though they are into it, their share has reduced compared to china. India on the other hand is good at 420. It's the mindset, reason why india is not able to step into manufacturing.

    • @surabhikashyap241
      @surabhikashyap241 Рік тому +35

Actually one more thing i like add which is missing in India. In Japan, South Korea and China, government focused on creating national champions in important sectors which are also strategic in nature through various measures. They made sure that those national champions can out compete their global peers and capture international markets to boost domestic export policies. In India, this is missing. UPI is the perfect case study of successful private public partnership. In India if government tries to copy Japan, South Korea and China, socialist minded people will start crying that we are becoming a capitalist society and trying to make rich people richer. India is not an export oriented economy nor our policy makers are interested to make it one. This is why we are unable to step up our manufacturing capacity. Domestic market alone is not sufficient and is also not mature enough for every sector. For that we need a society with increasing spending power. With current per capita, that's not possible.

@@abhinavmahanta8899 my views on some of them:
Ather is the best startup in EV two wheeler and is the best and most trusted one among the EV companies but they should give some new models now and yes of course I understand they have to expand first but at least one new EV wont mind. :)
Simple well I really don't know what their CEO is literally doing I mean he only gives out tweet on the specs but not delivering products and I have no doubt why people call it scam. :(
Ola well the most controversial name in the industry but agree it or not Ola is the one who did this revolution in India of the electric two wheeler and hope so Bhavish Sir becomes stable minded and works with a cool mind not some profit making IT brand type thing so Ola can truly become a market leader. :)
TVS is doing superb and with the new iQube my trust has slightly gone up for the company and it will truly do something wonderful with the technology, so a big thumps up for their future. :)
Bajaj well they are doing ok but not enough the Chetak is only selling for the name and no improvements has been done and I think they are focussing more on KTM Husqvarna and Triumph stuff rather than on their own so they should do something to stay in the race. :(
Vida or Hero Motocorp is the best example of start late but do best and it was good idea to start a partnership with Gogoro and the removeable battery feature and stuff is incredible and since partnering with Ather it has link to the Grid so Vida in no time will become the best as it invested in the right ones at the right time. :)
Ultraviolette is the answer to those who say India can only make mass market things and not better products where they prove everyone wrong and went on to make the first sports segment premium bike in India and no big brands has done anything like Honda Kawasaki Suzuki or Yamaha or even BMW Aprilia (partly because they are not into the stuff) but Ultraviolette showed that EV can be interesting. :)
Revamp is in a very early stage and by the looks they showed in Shark Tank, they have all the male sharks investments (ashneer and piyush invested off camera) and they have a good headstart so lets see how well they carry on the business. :)
Tork came late but surely will be a gamechanger in e-motorcycle which was taken by Revolt and hope so Tork can take it over as I am not a huge Revolt Fan and Revolt is winning cuz only its the only player in that particular market and hope so Tork crushes Revolt. :)
LML bikes looked really weird and to be honest I didn't find anything to be excited of so no particular approval from me at least. :(
SVM Prana is ok ok but its a prototype and way off the market so not many high hopes from them. :(
Svitch is a fun idea but not so practical from my side so I will pass. :(
Oben was really interesting at first but over time the things bout it are well really boring and I will prefer Tork over it any day but hey its still better than Revolt so high hopes for it in the future and a wealthy competitor for Tork and Revolt. :)
Atum was really really interesting and I have high hopes for it in the lower price segment and believe me it will do good if it performs properly in the future with good strategy. :)
One Electric is ok ok but nothing which gets me so another pass. :(
Gravton was a good one and it looks interesting so hope it does good in Moped market so good luck. :)
Emflux fan I was such a huge fan for the bike they made and now with no updates I fear the company has been shut down but please no it was so good, but things are going now I don't see anything. :(
WELL :) means it has my approval and :( means I expect more or completely lost faith if it does something!! BUT HARSH REALITY IS ONLY 7-8 COMPANY WILL REMAIN WHILE OTHERS WILL NOT DO WELL!!

"Why OLA Scooter is failing" was the title of this channel's last video on Ola. There at that time I commented that Ola will be game changer in Indian automotive space ICE or EV. But got a lot of hate from the followers of this channel.
Any new company which take such a radical step of selling a hitech product at the scale of India (huge nation & population) will obviously face lot and lot of problems. But they will improve eventually over time which OLA is. But people like this channel and many big ICE focused channels (like PD, AutoCar etc.) were quick to judge and declared OLA as failure and started spreading unnecessary hate. But see, now OLA is improving slowly by learning from their mistakes. Now OLA is rank 1 EV seller in India. They will be starting India's one of the first cell manufacturing plants by end of next year which will reduce cost of Battery pack by at least 40%. OLA has capability to save India from Chinese EV dumping.

Bajaj, tata, mahindra, hero and tvs though has selling vehicles since long before didn't do any RnD inbetween. Only in past 10-15years they show some willingness towards RnD. Still nowhere near to global champions.

I've liked this video, it's gonna be true, what has happened to indian mobiles are going to be repeated here to. The biggest problem with our system is that there is no proper check and balance, you need to make a video about the looting of fame 2 subsidies by indian companies and how the state initiative are toppled by our business community. U get a Chinese scooter for 50k without subsidy, but u will never get a same spec indian assembled unit for 50k even after deducting subsidy. This is the gruesome show of business here. When the customers finds that they are being looted, they will just walk away from this indian imposters and go for the cheap ones. The subsidies are grabbed by these fraudster companies, and no benefit flows to the people. These takers are not interested in investing those nabbed funds in R&D in lieu they spendthrift on luxurious living, which is destined to touch the micromax fate.
