In the 70s and 80s there were big bonita boils just off the bridge, 3-4 pounders back to back catches , great childhood memories with my pop's (rip), thanks for posting , sure brings it all back 🎣
Hello happy fishing Monday I'm new to your fishing UA-cam channel 🎣👍🏼 I love and enjoy Pier fishing out her in Long Beach as well 👍🏼🎣 I love fishing at the pier at alamitos Bay as a kid with my father rest in peace one of are favorite spots 🙏🏼
I have a question. Bonito Has a size limit of 24. But last year I seen a couple guys from the pier taking 10 inches or so, and the guy was telling me because they’re fishing off the jetty/pier they could take under their size . I looked it up, but I don’t see that anywhere, I know they have different rules for boats and surf fishing
How is it out there during high tide? Still fishable? The only jetty I’ve been to was marina and there u have to be careful about the high tide(half my stuff got washed away in a wave)
nice catch I was just out there today, and my buddy caught a sargo. What time of the day did you go? We were there in the evening. I was wondering if it was better to come early in the day over there.
I have Fish and Game on speed dial when I am fishing. I call anytime I see people keeping short fish. It has nothing to do with being a snitch. Let them babies get to breeding age so we can all catch fish in the future... It sucks getting skunked when you go fishing because people like this guy keep short fish.

They were attracted to the warm water coming from the electric plant upriver. We used to catch them all the way up to 7th St
In the 70s and 80s used to go every weekend. Started going in my kayak I could not believe all the trash everyone leaves behind.

You can only keep 10 Bonitos, 5 fish are allowed to be under 24 inches the other 5 have to be 24 inches.
Nice fish. Never caught one but I know they’re good eating.
Awesome 😎

It's always calm unless you go to the end of the Jetty, but all the action is from the middle to the beginning of the jetty.
Awesome! Is that from September 23?
What kind of hot sauce do you use?
I think it's just called Hot Sauce Gel. It doest have a strong smell, I use a garlic scent for bass, that one really smells.

I only go on Saturday morning around 9am to 1 pm.
@@BMRFISHING thanks man I will try a morning session and see how they bite.
Hey bro!
Where is the exact location
Ballast Point - 110 N Marina Dr, Long Beach, CA 90803. That is the closest address to the jetty.
Where can I park if I go there? If you okay, please let me know
cook video please :)
🤙😎
What’s up man, by any chance do you need a fishing license to fish from there?
From what I know, it's a public jetty, and most jetty are considered the same as fishing piers, so no, you don't need a fishing license.
@@BMRFISHING cool bro, I appreciate the reply.
Yes, but 2022😂
what hot sauce is that?
Was this recent?
No, I stopped posting for a year, so I'm a little behind.😁 It was around this time last year.
