Get a big net with small holes and is made of rubber and some grippers. If you’re fishing off rocks u should always have a path/rock to land and release the fish. Make it easier on them
thanks for watching, these where my first couple videos , the content and my skills are better now I learned from this video how to better treat my fish
Nice catch!! If you are catching and releasing halibut try to not let them smack their tails on the rocks or hard surface causes splits in its tail that ends up infection rot and don’t hold halibut by the gills either theirs a spot where you hold n squeeze and they become paralyzed or use fish grips !! If you are keeping them legals it doesn’t matter lol
Whatever you feel comfortable with. You want to cast as far as you can so whatever you think you can throw farther then use that reel. Thanks for watch bro
😎🤙
Like the catch and release Bro!!!
Thank you for watching , known for catching and releasing
Long Beach 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

@@JustCallMeJohnny you ever fish near the queen Mary. U sound like a dude I met there who was telling me about coltsniper jerkbaits
@@chuckem I have but I never fished with jerk baits... only zooms and sand warms
@@JustCallMeJohnny sick
Nice Hali!!
Hell yea good video bro now u have a new subscriber 👍🏾🇨🇴
thank you bro really appreciate it
Great catch the fish handling needs a lot of work. Conservation is awesome but does no good when the fish are bounced off the rocks.

Good job 👍🐟
Nice catch..
Yo bro how do u feel about baitcasters?? Do u think they catch more fish?? Or is spinning perfectly suited for on foot at jetties/rocky areas??
Whatever you feel comfortable with. You want to cast as far as you can so whatever you think you can throw farther then use that reel. Thanks for watch bro
Great video and a better catch. I was out there for the first time last month but didn’t put enough time.
Its a grind but there in there, thanks for watching
Throw him on a tortilla and make a Halibut quesadilla. 🔥 Nice catch, keep up the good work.
I would like to fish that jetty. Can you share the location?
shoreline and ocean in Long Beach
Sick
Do you ever fish Cabrillo?
Not yet hopefully soon once summer comes around
Nice halibut, I actually caught a halibut on my channel like a week ago
What rod were you using? Power, length, and brand?
U most likely killed him bro. Always grab only by tail. Never the gills on a halibut. But. Nice video
I was told a couple weeks after how to the Hali but he was chilling, thanks for watching
Are you running all mono line?
mono or floral works, here I think mono
That was bad ass.
