I hate to tell you but just about all the fish you buy in the supermarket is farm raised from China and other countries, they literally eat their own poop. Eating a fresh fish out of the ocean is the least of your problems. At least I know that what I'm eating is actually a real fish.
I’m glad to see this video because I have gone fishing there too. I found this place just looking at the map. I got some big stripped bass all the way at the end by the light tower.
There is free Parking from the crab pot down to Ballast Point restaurant in Long Beach. There is an open gate before you cross the bridge, just walk up the jetty.
I don't understand the full language on what jettys are considered the same as fishing piers, so I don't know yet, but I always carry a fishing license.
Its complicated, if its a public jetty with no signs telling you to not trespass or no fishing signs, should be OK, because they are considered the same as fishing piers
@BMRFISHING I know there's no size limit. That's not the point. That thing has no meat on it. Lol u talking about toxins on a corbina. Stop it. I can't stop you from taking a small bean. But come on man what kinda fisherman are u? Lol
there's a lot of people that sport fish the beans. they spot fish em in under a foot of water and sometimes even fly fish in the surf for them. the fishing community in this area of the 805 are pretty big advocates of c&r the beans since they are sport fish. we treat them like salt water large mouth bass. it's no biggy to catch and cook em once in a while. but not every fish has to come home with ya and that's especially true with these beans, calicos, spotties, etc.
Nice to see a channel coming out of Long Beach I’m about to subscribe ✌️
Thanks.🤙

Hey bro!
What’s the exact location?
Those are littleneck clams. Daily bag limits are 50 and must be a minimum of 1.5 inch in length.
Thanks.
@@BMRFISHINGu need to have a ruler on u for them clams they gonna ask how u know if its of size whip out the ruler app 😅😂
Great video bro!! 👍🏻 by the way where can you park to fish that side? I normally go to the other side at 72pl across from you are at.
You can park anywhere from the Crab Pot down to the Balist Point restaurant.
Eating that out of that water is nasty. You can not be that desperate. Might as well go hunt a duck in the river bed.

What pound line and hook size ?
I use 10lb test line, 1 or 2 size octopus hooks.

I don't understand the full language on what jettys are considered the same as fishing piers, so I don't know yet, but I always carry a fishing license.

@MrChow2u I use around a size 2 octopus hook and half ounce to a 1/4 ounce weight.
Do you need the *CA fishing license* to fish on the *jetty* ?
