I have the same exact setup but I throw arigs with it or Id fish way bigger fish than spotties lol. That being said be careful when your casting out not to get the line caught on the hookkeeper, at 2:05 you catch and fish and it looked really difficult to reel because your line was caught on the keeper. Actually I noticed you put the line on the hookkeeper, you do it again at 4:00 cuz your pulling out line. Then you do it again lol bad habit just be careful cuz reeling in a big fish like that your gonna lose it, basically like having the line caught around one of the guides on your pole.
Thanks for the tip man! I’ll keep that in mind next time. I’ll throw some big swim baits and what not here and there with this set up. I usually pull out line like that to fix any birds nest or to let it sink faster. I feel like there’s a little disadvantage since I’m having a left retrieve with this rod. The hook keeper is in the left side so it’s more prone to get caught around it
@@CatchFishNotFeelingsYT hello happy fishing 🎣 can't wait to see a nother fishing video of yours Tuesday your very welcome my friend I have a fishing request if possible can you do a fishing 🎣 collaboration with Tony aka Bearz G. I'm a big fan of he's it would be cool to see you both have a fishing battle of the macks or a battle of the spotted bay bass 🎣👍🏼
@@tj7039 Hooks can cause damage in the wrong spot of the mouth but a broken jaw is certain death. Don't get me wrong I love to catch bass but my point is just take your photo and ease them back. Tight lines!

Why such a big reel? I live in Wisconsin and that’s like a musky reel.
Thanks for watching! I use this set up for a variety of fishing. More of a personal preference and it just feels good to cast and use 🤙🏻
Keep your content more wholesome or you’ll lose subs. 👎
