Josh Martin Indeed. Something that I’ve personally been through. Being from Lafayette, IN. (Technically I’m from West Lafayette) where Jeff Isbell, (Izzy Stradlin) Bill Bailey, (Axl Rose) & Shannon Hoon (a distant relative) are from. Shannon would often return home to see his mom (Vernell or Nell) which gave me opportunities to fulfill every friends wish for Shannon’s autograph. But I always held onto one for myself. But when one of my best friends came back to visit (2 years after graduating from Purdue University) from Lynchburg, Virginia...he saw the autograph I’d held onto and flipped out as he was a big Blind Melon fan as well. (Both he and I consider Soup to be an incredible album way before its time and definitely one of the most underrated albums in rock history.) So before he left to go back to Virginia, I gave him Shannon’s autograph. Approximately 2 months later while in New Orleans as part of their tour, Shannon overdosed and passed away. Everyone who truly knew him were devastated. He was about as real it gets. He wore his heart on his sleeve and always went out of his way doing things for his friends and family and even complete strangers that even everyday people wouldn’t do. He is buried just outside Lafayette, IN. in Dayton, IN. If you’re a fan and ever happen to be driving on I-65 between Indianapolis & Chicago, just look for the State Road 38 exit (Dayton exit) in Lafayette IN.. Turn east (towards Dayton) and the graveyard he is buried in is about a half mile down 38 on your left hand side. In life I’m certain he would’ve very much appreciated the love he’s gotten in death.

I was there too and it was a great show. Unfortunately due to my buddy getting out of work late, I got there in the middle of Megadeth's set, so I missed Alice but luckily I got to see them still before Layne died. It was great seeing this documentary. Poor Riki, lol. He tried so hard but they just couldn't help using him as their punching bag.

I took my 15 year old cousin (20 for me) to this awesome, crazy-wild & memorable concert at the Philadelphia Spectrum (RIP) on June 29, 1991. So many crazy memories like seeing the guys from AIC walking in the concourse, seats were 2nd row behind the boards, almost caught Charlie's drum stick he threw to the crowd, and everyone was falling into each other to grab it. I guess the guy in a stupid Wrathchild America shirt in front of me was annoyed and stating that if I push him one more time, he would punch me in my face, big guys with long hair in back of me with Slayer shirts telling him he'd get a punch if he touched me, crowd breaking through the barricades during Anthrax, Jerry Mele, tour security, made an appearance. Chairs were stacked all over the floor, and cushions ripped out and thrown all around. That's just some of the things that happened that night 😂😮. Still got my ticket stub. Good time to be young & alive🤘
Love seeing AIC. I've seen the other 4 (The Big Four) many times. Alice killed this show..Not one of these guys have Layne's pipes. I think Dave Mustaine is sexy but he seems angry here.

I saw this tour in Toronto, but we missed out on Alice in Chains and half of Anthrax's set due to the unexpectedly long walk from our motel to the CNE grandstand. Zachary Maher Slayer was last, and the only band we really wanted to see. AIC opened, followed by Anthrax, then Megadeth, then Slayer. Another thing which was totally fucked at the CNE grandstand, which is an outdoor arena, was a smoking ban. We saw several hundred people get dragged out by security for smoking. When they came to indy ,I had the greatest Pleasure of meeting ,Mike,Layne, and Jerry ,Had a Fantastic Conversation, I will never forget it...Thank you Titans
I was 14 during the Clash of the Titans tour. I didnt start going to concerts til I was 15 with my cousin Jeff, he was 23. I saw this tour in Miami when I was 26 with my favorite old girlfriend that I still think about. She was so sweet and beautiful. Wonder what she's doing tonight? I should have married her instead she caught me cheating and never spoke to me again. I was so stupid at that age.

I saw this show in Mansfield Massachusetts. One of the best ever...
Great Woods!
I saw this tour at DTE music theatre in Clarkston Mi. and it was great. It was my first time seeing Slayer and have seen them now 10 times. I have to say that of all the shows I have seen them do, that tour was the best.
What a lineup and one hell of a great show. Anthrax, Slayer, Alice On Chains and ]v[EG,ADET]-[!!! 4 of my all time favorite bands.
Take a shot every time Ricki "poser" Rachtman mentions 'Madison Square Garden'.
Joey Belladonna looks exactly the same then as he does now.
When they came to indy ,I had the greatest Pleasure of meeting ,Mike,Layne, and Jerry ,Had a Fantastic Conversation, I will never forget it...Thank you Titans
Damn. Do you remember any of the conversation?
I was 14 during the Clash of the Titans tour. I didnt start going to concerts til I was 15 with my cousin Jeff, he was 23. I talked to a dude in a bar about 10 years ago that was a few years older than me that said he went to that concert. It's always been something I missed that I wish I could've gone to.
Dave Obviously can't stand Riki Rachtman or MTV, but hey can you blame the guy
4:42 ”Metal, I can guarantee it” -Marty Friedman
Ironic
Got to see this tour in toronto, rip goat ,mis you brother ,im glad we seen this together kiddo, love you forever

Dave Mustaine the only dude that can still look badass with a fanny pack and ear rings \m/
and a french braid lol
the guys so effeminate backstage even today
when slayer were in their absolute fkn prime..3 of my fave albums, all within a year of each other-seasons, p.o.t, and rust in peace....unreal! then unfortunately the black album came out..
Saw this tour at Deer Creek in Noblesville Indiana. One of the absolute best shows ever!! Would have been cool if Testament had been there like they were supposed to be.
Was at the MSG show. AMAZING SHOW!!!
Haha fuckin Dave "How am I? Probably alot better than you."
I saw this tour in Miami when I was 26 with my favorite old girlfriend that I still think about. She was so sweet and beautiful. Wonder what she's doing tonight? I should have married her instead she caught me cheating and never spoke to me again. I was so stupid at that age.
Curtis Moffett She's with me now, pal.
Doom666 SHUT THE FUCK UP BOTH YOU AND FusedPower
Curtis Moffett What a dumb mistake, esp that FL girls are hot, and back then, if they liked thrash metal, it was a real real gem.
She;s fat and old now I found her on FB, I have a GF now whose 20 years younger than me and gorgeous inside and out. You guys can have her fat ass lol
+Curtis Moffett I always love, when MTV Headbangers Ball comes to this..
I remember my days as a rocker makes me nostalgic I aaa-hard rocker greetings to all the rockers from tijuana mexico
Great video!
Ricki is alaways excited for other bands and when it comes to megadeth it’s like
Ah shit here we go again, while Dave bullies him
