They are, actually i'm a minority here but they are My favorites of the Big 4. I think they are the only ones that remember that music can be fun, the other 3 of course do amazing music but with the time they became stale and Even boring. But an Anthrax release is ALWAYS balls to the wall kicking pure fucking headbanging metal.

When I blasted into the metal world starting at 14 and found Metallica, Megadeth, Priest, Slayer, Overkill, Testament....I never would've thought they'd be THIS big. It was soooo underground. Even 3 albums in, some of these guys were clubbing, haha. I saw Slayer for South in a little shithole in NY, for example. Now here they are. I'm 39...these guys are 45-50. So crazy man. So happy that this style of musical art influenced countless players and now they're legend.
I think its great they put this on the big 4 dvd when it came out. It's awesome that the bands all get along on and off stage. Alot of bands from that time split up after 5 or 6 years of touring. Reading Mustaine's Autobiography had some very pleasantly unexpected surprises. He had a degree of humility that went way beyond what I expected ( I expected the opposite at least to a degree) and he owned up a ton to his own shortcomings and was very reflective and it didn't seem like he took potshots. I bring this up as he seems very much at ease around Lars at the end of this part 1 clip and it didn't seem at all weird or uncomfortable. I knew Gar Samuelson (Megadeth drummer on KIMB and Peace Sells) pretty well for a few years (early '90s), so the only disappointment was that he glanced over Gar, just briefly covering the period he was in the band, and said nothing about his passing or anything else after Gar and Chris were dismissed in 1987. He didn't even mention Poland playing on The System has Failed.
I wonder why he left Gar and Chris out,.. I know they supposedly brought MR Brownstone into their lives.. but they also being amazing artists brought jazz in..
