Layne chose to stay in that life and he reaped what he sowed in the end. Still crying 30 years 😢 AIC was the first band I ever saw in concert when I turned 18 and I knew immediately that Layne was otherworldly. We were as close to the stage as humanly possible and you could feel Laynes voice. I don't know how to describe it other than like that, his voice was huge & powerful. Mark Lanegan has said the same thing on interviews about Laynes voice. Man, it was an amazing show by amazing musicians & it started my love of all things AIC & Layne Staley. In ‘91, the only Kardashian wasting space on TV was Robert Kardashian Sr., who was O.J. Simpson’s defense attorney in the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. It’s amazing how many people are just in our faces today because of their parents. Layne and the boys would have hated it! Love These guys!

Also, AIC LITERALLY refined the word “alternative rock” (coined by radio stations and Labels) in the early 90’s. They SLAYED Thrash Metal and Hair Metal. Topped their charts and made them change the way they played and toured altogether... Might I mention WHILE AIC was touring with them. 👍🏻😀
