Humble suggestion for this video and future ones.
Get closeups of what you are talking about for those viewers that haven’t experienced these mango pathologies in person. Same for your grafting videos. Not close enough.
Yes Har Pineapple Pleasure is the best mango there is by far. (I know you didn’t say that but I saw the smirk on your face) They are so great but so rare so they should be auctioned off and never sold!!! It’s a super precious commodity. Somehow hold an auction for each one. I got to taste a sliver of one at Zill’s office and if I could do backflips I would have backflipped all over that office then all the way home to Miami right down the Turnpike backwards all the way!!!
It is the most unique fantastic beast of a mango and the only one that’s even close to it is a perfectly ripened Sugarloaf!!!! And PP is much bigger and prettier. Sooo worth dedicating planting spots to it for those reasons even though the trees hardly produce. Maybe it shouldn’t even be called a mango cause it’s at the very least almost a different tasting species. It’s sooo damn special!!!
I hope everyone gets to taste it some day.

I have a Mango Tree which i believe is a Keitts based on the time of fruiting. At some point at the latter part of last year I didn't get any flower nor fruits, but lots of leaf loss which looked to me the tree was going to die. Not giving up I started a routing of spray lower than recommended dose of copper rotating with light dose of soap and then some a light dose of baking soda. It was hard spraying with hand pump 1 gal sprayer. So I set up with a very diluted mix with a pressure washer and car wash tip which work beautifully with a ladder. Today the tree is coming back leaves are beautiful, but I don't expect and fruit this year 2020, but maybe next year.
In retrospect I had started growing some of the seeds from the tree I had 3 years ago and were still in 3 gal pots since and plan on keeping them potted in larger pots. I watched all your video about grafting and weren't successful with any techniques, so i decided to go with what i call brutal grafting ( which is call the approach grafting method). It has worked and i now have 2 grafted and growing just fine. My question is since I plan on keeping the mangos in Pots (of course they would be much larger than 3 gals as i have 20gal pots) would it be a good idea to root prune the trees as they get root bound? I also have a mango tree i grew from seed about 7 years ago and it is in a 45gal pot for the last 2 years and is now got a ton of flower getting ready to bloom. That of course is because I tipped the tree last year which gave it a ton more branches. I am thinking of root pruning the avocado tree some day as well.
I want to keep these trees manageable so i can move them around when need be for shade or sun. The avocado tree I moved to a sunny spot from where it was in a semi shaded area a month later I've got bloom. It is also easier to manage with sprays and trimming.
Please let me know what you thing about root pruning the mango and avocado potted trees. Thanks

Do you have a close up to determine anthracnose and powder mildew. Also a products to recommend for dealing with those issues.

Another wonderful info packed video. I forgot about sulfur and will definitely add to the routine. I had been eating below the foliage thinking that would help reduce PM. But according to Har the “ cold with moisture in the air but NO RAIN, maybe I should fake a good rain shower with my sprayer as I have high humidity issues. Hmmmm what are your thoughts. Ordered a power sprayer delivered today😃🥭

How does your fruit set look this season? Looks like a bad season in Tampa area this year.
Would be nice to get a second bloom.
Let me know please, Perry's CHAMPA MANGO

As is common, after such an outstanding production last year for trees to 'take a year off' or produce more modestly the following year. This is what we are seeing here at our farm in Delray Beach.

Most of the Indian Verity will not get bloom every year. If they bloom this year they will skip blooming next year. In order to get next year bloom, you will have to apply micro nutrient. That's what I know. Anyway thank you for this nice video. ❤️ from India. Keep growing mango.

@@TrulyTropical Thanks for the reply but it's not powdery mildew. I have observed a particular insect, looks like a beetle with hard brown wings sucking on the flowers until they dry out. Lucy from Nigeria - tropics.

my experience with copper and sulphur is terrible. It help in antracnose and mildew in the branches but does is phytotoxic to the leaves and green canopy and flowerws. fruit set is very poor with copper oxychloride spays. I find mancozeb + carbendazim, hexaconazole , thiophante methyl and azoxystrobin very effective if you rotate among two of these fungicides at day 0. day 7 and day 21. will post a video soon of mangoes on my estate and you will know find out the efficacy of chemical control.
