Hi I'm Bruce from the Part Time Prospector - join me on the journey as I learn how to do gold prospecting in Western Australia (WA).
Come along and learn with me how to prospect for gold in Western Australia.
I'm based right here in Perth, WA, so I will be doing gold prospecting using a metal detector. I think it will be very unlikley I will find enough water to run a sluice or do some gold panning. But never say never..
Have you ever wanted to do gold prospecting? Western Australia is a great place to start, and I'm going to learn (and show you) as much as possible about this fantastic hobby!!
Gold prospecting is a great way to get outdoors and have some fun. And who knows, you might even find a nugget or two! All you need is a miner's right from the WA mines department, a metal detector, some knowledge and you're good to go.
Some come along with me on my journey to discover how to find gold in Western Australia. Everything from getting a miner's right to digging up gold nuggets! Won't that be fantastic?
