Thank you so much for this video! The installation instructions are so bad, but you gave great reference of the order of operations and just seen it on the wall really helped me figure the last couple of things out. Thank you so much :)
More info not provided in video: Like he said loosely mount the rails to the board. But assemlble platform section on the floor, not after hanging. Much easier. Then just get help to slide it onto the loose rails as described and tighten up the rails. Also: You need to supply your own lag screws. It mentions it in the installation guide that they are not supplied in-spite of someone else said here. Instructions: "Step 1. Wall mounting hardware not included." You need 4 around a 3" long 1/4" thick lag screw/bolts (for the mounting boards provided and potentially your wall mounting board see below*). A drill and a bit set and eyeballing a size smaller drill it than the lag screw. Stud finder (be sure and hit the center of the studs. and level and you are good to go. None of the wall mounting is in the instructions. (*This video assumes you have 16" apart studs which is typical wall standards. Could be, but not always. To get it perfect in the middle of the studs you need to cut a couple of 3/4 " mounting boards that he does not show being used in this video. Also, then you need 8 of the lag screws I mentioned above. This mounting is really not very hard with very basic carpentry tools and skills and a call to home depot can help.) www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-lag-screw.htm
Video very helpful because Everlast instructions are rubbish - Also good to see already installed which gives a better idea of the finished product Great tips from the video - for me these three were crucial to installation 1. Installation of bottom piece onto the wall by using loose screws 2. The L bracket is what i was looking for (as mine are unlabelled) and your tip and video is very helpful to find the knob placement - 3. Need of two people to hang platform Massive thank you - Thumbs up
Really helpful video; thanks for sharing. The instructions that come with the platform aren't very helpful. It's a decent platform once it's put together but the knobs have to be really tight as they'll vibrate loose.
You made this much more difficult than it had to be. Mount the two boards to the wall, assemble EVERYTHING on the ground, get a person to help you attach. Easy
Hi there, how many screws in total are in the wall? That will leave a hole. My landlord feels skeptical about me having it on the wall, is there anyway I don’t need it on the wall?
No, you need to supply your own lag screws. It mentions it in the installation guide that they are not supplied in-spite of someone else said here. Instructions "Step 1. Wall mounting hardware not included." You need 4 around a 3"-3.5" long 1/4" thick lag screw/bolt (for the mounting boards provided and potentially your wall mounting board see below*). A drill and a bit set and eyeballing a size smaller drill it than the lag screw. Stud finder (be sure and hit the center of the studs. and level and you are good to go. Hey this a new subscriber but I have the same model and I put everything together I just don't have the extra 4 screws and bolts to put it on the wall but I have 4 washers tho
Thanks alot, the crappy chinese instructions are horrible.. they put the numbers on the tape which you need to remove to get everything out the box. The chinese, unbranded version is much cheaper and almost the same as the everlast branded one
Thank you very much for the video. The instructions that come with it are utterly useless. You saved me much time and aggrevation. Thanks!

Thank you. Installation instructions got me frustrated.

I though that I won’t get nothing from this video and you solve my problem! Thank you so much man.
This whole setup bag, frame and swivel is same as what I had.. been through alot and this worked best. Top man
Thanks for the idea of mount it from the bottom up. Very helpful when doing it by oneself.
Just assemble the whole thing on the floor. Then get it screwed on the wall with someone helping you to hold it. It's easier and faster that way.

What height on the wall do you install the first support piece? I'm trying to figure out where to start with this thing. Yes, the instructions suck.
Any way you could post the dimension of the wall bracket? need to know how wide it is

What size lag bolts?

Screw what your landlord thinks lol. Patch it up when you move out, whats the diff? :)
Always easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
Thanks man
Does the speed bag come with the platform?
Yes
Ours didn’t.
what is the distance from bottom of the wood Everlast platform to the bottom of the bag?
Thanks for the video. I just order this same model. Does it come with all the necessary bolts and screws?
Yes , all including the tools for nuts and screws...in case you don't have any.
Except the ball, that's not included.

@rickifernandez grabbed one. Guy's can start with this and I'll upgrade later if needed.
Thank you! The instructions that came with the platform do suck

Yea the instructions for this product fuckn SUCK !!! they need to rethink the manual.. if they even put any thought into it at all
Noisy kids, thing is already installed, no info on lag bolts. Why bother doing this?
You don’t even need classes anymore it’s a waste of money you can literally look up how to do anything
Oh my LORD the kid squealing their lungs out was so annoying. Made it impossible to watch unfortunately.
You’re weird af
No offense but this video didn’t help either. I had to keep pressing pause just to see and figure out where the pieces went.
