Hey sir what size speedbag is that? They have a height, the smallesr size common bag is 8". Your diameter is 10.5" and your bag is coming off the board some. I was looking at a 20" platform and i didnt want a problem with the bag.

I like it. You should sink the speedbag head board screws and mount a mirror, so the boxer could see them selves in action

definitely makes it easier. It can be done with a drill and a jig saw from Walmart, just would take longer.

Good luck. No real reason. I tend to over engineer things and I had it on hand as scrap from another project.

what's the best type of wood? plywood as good as it gets? Would a harder wood like oak give the bag more pop?
That's a good question. Not sure. I just used plywood because I had some left over from something else.
