You do a nice job finding and sharing high quality items, from knives to watches. I appreciate your attention to detail. Thanks for continuing the videos.
That colorway is phenomenal. I've seen a number of reviews struggling to define the color of the dial and that's what attracts me. Ordering it, thanks for the review I needed. I picked #400. I have a new Rolex DateJust 41 silver on silver and I love it but this calls me.
I’ve lived with this watch for three weeks now, it’s not swatch like.
Love the dial in different lights, love looking at the movement. Well done Farer.
Very beautiful, love the design! Love the dome and how it maximizes the use of the dial, a bit vulnerable without a bezel of course, but much prettier imho
Definitely a watch Design you won't see on many wrists! Not quite sure about the colour combination but it seems to be a fair price for what you get.
Great video of a great watch! Thanks for sharing.
I love it. Looks like Sellita movement now. That dial is what your buying🔥🔥
Congratulations, nice review for a very nice watch👍🏻
Great design, you can pick the band you want, and great quality guts... it is expensive though.
love this watch
Love what this brand is doing
It’s 10 atmos (100m) it’s definitely better water resistance than you alluded to
Agree that it is, but as an owner of this watch, I do agree with the reviewer in that I wouldn't feel comfortable swimming with it. Even if the watch is rated for swimming, which it is, I prefer not to swim with a watch unless it's got a screw down crown and is at least 20atm. I guess for $1500, to me, it's not worth taking the chance.
Erik Kalifornia not what I said. I have a SARB033 also rated to 100m but I also wouldn’t swim with it.
Love that teal dial. Overpriced for a a relative unknown microbrand imo. Of course if you love it it will be worth the money spent.
Beautiful rare piece
I still don't understand the GMT function. Does the GMT hand move independently with the crown? I'm new to wrist watches.
Atilio Escobar you can track two timezones basically
The GMT hand works on a 24 hour dial or “military” time. It rotates around the dial one time in 24 hours unlike the standard 12 hour “standard” hand that rotates around the dial twice a day.
This would be really nice in a 36mm case with a decent crown.
Wrist frosting?
Why is your date disk white whereas the one shown on their site has matching color to the dial?
Farer updated the design.
Nice watch, great design imo
Good review. I swim with mine, as I did with my GMT Master. 100m suits me!
Just bought this model - let's see how it is in the flesh - they say if you don't like it, 30 days for full refund no questions asked! It really stands out to me amongst the micro-brand dross.
I also have an Autodromo and a Halios.
Well, I got it... and it's not for me. Honestly it looks like a Swatch in the flesh, much smaller than I thought it would be (and I have 6.5" wrists) so, think I'll send it back for a refund.
Can't justify that much money on something that looks like a kids toy watch. Nah....
What made it look like a kid’s toy watch?
Can't understand how you track the minutes. I can't see minutes markers on the bezel, only smal signs each 5 minutes not related to intermediate minutes. Can you explain please?
i say resale value is there as well with all of their watches
Is this a brand that will hold value ?
no
Try Bernhart GMT.Mind blowing value.
I really like the look of this watch. However, I think Christopher Ward offers more bang for the buck.
CW and Seiko probably do offer more bang for the buck if you want a sports watch- but these are more everyday/casual dress watches. I own a Marinemaster and a Speedmaster but wouldn’t mind of these for work and traveling. It’s different, has character and you’re not likely to see one in the wild.
But the quality and looks of the CW is a notch below this Farer. All of the Farer watches are beautiful and distinct to look at(eg, the bronze crown)and for all intents and purposes, this is a Swiss watch with a British name and design!(perfect combination, marrying Swiss precision engineering with British design flair.)
@@eyeofthetiger6002 Agree, i own the the Lander showed here, as well as the CW C8 Chronometer, which is a really nice watch for $2000. Most of CW watches are pretty cheap however, like Seiko, good value for the money, but not overly special. The Lander shown here is a much nicer watch than most CW watches...
Not swim with a 10ATM watch? lol I'd sincerely hope you'd swim with a 10ATM watch, most of the early dive watches were that depth rating or less.
It’s not so much the 10ATM rating as the lack of a screw down crown. The screw down crown makes all of the difference.
10 atm means 100m water resistans means swimming!!!!
With no screw down crown I would be hesitant to submerge it, regardless of depth rating. You may do as you like though.
frips1000 in Swiss term 10 atm means “be really careful when you are washing your hands”
You can get a longines conquest GMT at that price.
I'd prefer the ETA 2893 TOP movement over the movement in the Conquest.
why on earth would ANYBODY buy a Longines Conquest GMT?? It is one UGLY motherwatcher!
Every time I see their watches I want one. Then I see the price. If it was closer to $500 It'd be a great watch.
It's worth it if the unique design speaks to you and you can see yourself keeping it forver. It was for me.
Money comes and goes. If you really like that watch go for it.
@@Itzzmeagain28 Money never comes always goes. :))
Will you be posting anymore knife videos..what's up with all these watches.
Jk keep up the amazing content broheim.
i love micro brands but these guys are a little pricey compared to most.
Show a GMT watch with the function of how the time zone and GMT functions work please. Not just an exterior view back to back.
Learn how to use GMT instead of complaining almost anyone interested in GMT knows how to use it. It's like having interest in watches without knowing how to read the time. Your complain doesn't make any sense
@@dukeviper8385 why doesn't it make any sense? People want to know if it's a True GMT or a follow GMT. And reading the time of a watch is rather simple.
There may be watch owners who wish to move into gmt watches that may want to know how the gmt function works. Nothing wrong with that.
@@mcrae1977 agreed, although he did mention the type of GMT complication featured, drawing the distinction between it and a 'true' GMT watch, like the Rolex.
Well i was here hoping to see how the GMT works. To see if it’s true or different. I’m looking at the new gmt bezel in white 🙌🏾
the buckle looks underwhelming. Its priced more than a hamilton gmt
Love the design of the Lander and Carter; best use of color in the business I feel. But it's too damn small. I need a watch that is 42mm or it looks too diminutive on my wrist. I'm fine with the price, just not the size, and the thing is, all of the Farer watches are 39.5mm.
Sorry but this is not good value. It's a lot more than an airman
If you want strictly value buy a timex/g shock/ Seiko sarb etc
If you want something a bit different and with character but still well made with good materials this is fine and it’s not too expensive in my book
But it looks way better than an airman. OKay that is subjective, but they're totally different looking watches. I can't imagine people tossing up the two. This is the kind of watch an author, musician or artist might wear, for example. The airman is far more masculine and suits an entirely different type of wrist.
Don’t apologise. It’s your opinion even if you are wrong.
Unremarkable watch. There are so many watches one can buy for 1500 this one becomes another Frankenstein, quasy-vintage design. Reminds me of Citizen bullheads with their Franken dials and aftermarket hands.
