Great in-depth review. Looking forward to more.
Most detailed watch review I've seen. Very objective and solid critique. I am biased though since I enjoy Farer.
Love to see another vid from you, please keep it up!
Thank you for watching and will do!
This is only the second automatic I have ever bought, and the first from Farer. I received it a week ago (No.99), and I'm enjoying it. When I saw the dial, it was an instant love-at-first-sight deal.
It's a very poppy watch without being too showy and vulgar (I also got the pink strap!).
Customer service from Farer seems good - they sent the watch out when they said they would.
Glad you enjoy yours. It really is a fun piece. Hope you enjoy it for years to come.
I really enjoy your watch reviews. And you have superb taste in your strap pairings.
Thank you very much! Appreciate you watching. And I try my best on the straps. Helps I just have too many to begin with haha!
Damn Awesome review and Watch.🔥
I think THIS would make a great Daily Driver.
Another great video brother, I love the dial on this!
Thanks man, got to check out the zodiac video of yours. I have that watch 😂
@@theknightswatch You’re going to hate me then 😂
I’ve been eyeing farer for a bit. Glad I stumbled into it. My next watch to collect was going to be a 36/37m gs or iwc but this, this is a strong contender.
Looks beautiful
Definitely punches fairly against the other competitors. Gs of course will be finished better but there sub 40mm options aren’t that great.
Great review, great channel.
The watch reminds me of the Kurono Toki. It's nice that smaller watches get back in style, especially for smaller wrists.
Definitely can see the kurono like style. I will say those case shapes to wear a little more comfortably/ feels nicer.
This video was a bit too long but very valuable for me.. not for the farer watch but that purple hasnobounds strap is insane. Thank you for sharing that. Love it. Need it for my upcoming purple dial watch.
Haha glad it helped I’m some way. The purple strap is fantastic. Hope you enjoy it!
Fine review. Thanks! All us broke collectors have ALWAYS wanted a Jump Hour but had to settle for caller type only. Enter the Miyota 9075. Ck Zelos and Traska also makes a True GMT. These are sub $700.00 USD. Waiting on my Zelos Mako V 3 GMT now. Meteorite dial….$629.00 USD.
It's honestly ludicrous it took this long for the true GMT to appear in affordable off-the-shelf movements.
Perfect size; perfect shade of pink, but could do without the GMT complication. VERY thorough review, and very much appreciated.
True I think there may be some more room to have fun without the gmt. But also nice having a complication at this smaller size. Give and take! Thanks for watching Matthew 👌🏻
An excellent combination of good size and specifications. I would like to see more GMT watches in this same general pattern.
Agreed there! Hopefully more in the future
Pink to 11, nice! I'm surprised how much I like that case, I'm not a fan of the dial but for some reason that case shape just does it for me. Personally I'd put that on a royal blue strap, I have a bunch of salmon dials and that's just a combo that pops.
Can’t argue. It fits nicely, and agreed the blues work really well on this dial, just don’t have any royal blue in my strap collection at the moment haha.
Hey Xavier, have you seen the Lesablier Chronosport? It's still on preorder price until thursday with delivery this month, thought it might be of interest. Mine's coming this weekend.
It’s a pretty cool looking piece. I had the sport classic briefly and don’t know what happened to the review 😂 not the highest integrated bracelet fan but I appreciate the uniqueness of that watch
Was really curious about this one. Surprised your review was a bit more lukewarm than I expected.
I was surprised too. Always liked the original gmt online and when the 36 came out in pink I ordered it immediately. But sometimes all that glitters isn’t gold!
GMT’s are my favorite but 36mm is too small for a GMT for me. Add to that the Arabic numerals, which again I love-it’s too crowded. Needs to be a 39 for sure. Love the pink, though.
I'd never use the GMT hand to track my local time zone when I travel as you suggest. That just invites trouble. You're jet lagged, tired, and you have to show up to places at critical times all while you have to remind yourself that the correct time is not shown the way you're used to reading it.
I am honestly surprised that manufacturers can just call their watches GMT without making the office/travel distinction clear - they are very different complications and use cases.
I think if you get used to reading it a certain way it shouldn’t throw you for too much of a loop. But I understand for those who have always used a gmt one way and then transfer to another. Shock to the system
@@theknightswatch Thanks for the response. You're right, that's especially an issue if you have both kinds of GMTs.
You made a great video! I wish Farer and Christopher Ward could bring the Miyota 9075 to this 36 mm form factor.
I don’t know, that watch is pretty great.
When I was looking at their new releases yesterday i went back to this collection which didn't really "grab me" when they came out, but i was kinda drawn to the Sea Coast version. I suppose i'm in the new summer watch mode, but I'm really glad i watched this video because it does seem to be a tad lacking considering the price ( I also hate perlage as well...so it's nice to have a friend) My other thought it might feel rather insignificant weight-wise on my wrist so If i did get one I'd get the milanese option. In the end I don't love the all polished case even though I love shiny things ...like a crow perhaps. In the end I'd probably get the Lander IV as that teal is my favorite color and you do get polished and brushed finishing. To your point about the hands...if they had made them differently it might have taken away one of the things that you like about the watch. it's non-Farer esque going overboard with color. i do think these are nicely restrained. I got a lot out of the video as always, so thank you.
Absolutely. I think this whole gmt series is just a case of I think I need this color so the watch isn’t too bad overall. Even for me who’s been looking for a pink watch forever, this isn’t it even if the color is great 🤷🏻♂️. With how well this case wears I don’t doubt the larger size would also fit nicely. Appreciate you watching and glad you got something out of it to help you a little 🙏🏻
@@theknightswatch I did love seeing both ALL PINK strap combos you had on show!
@@michaelfierman3256 the second all pink combo definitely made me second guess if I wanted to keep it or not haha
I know watches can go well above this price but I wouldnt be able to spend that kind of money on it and still have to say good not great..
If it was half the price maybe??
It would be much better presentation if it's in 4K. Any cheap phone can shoot 4k these days.
Hey dear. Would you like to review our products?
a but if a girls watch...
Looks like a toy
A fun toy
A 30 minute review? Really?
Don’t forget the 8 seconds. That’s where the good stuff comes in.
@@theknightswatch Sorry, I never got that far. 6 minutes I think.
