Great new feature, guys! Finally an oscilloscope that's easy and that works on the Mac! For the next update, it would be cool, if the oscilloscope could show not only the incoming signal and the sidechain in different colours, but also the sum of both signals. That'd be super cool. Thaaanks, and keep up the great work!
Right before release we wondered if users would request the see the sum of both! Super-useful to see how Kick+Bass sum up, for example. So yes, let's see if more users ask for it!
In shaperbox I miss a randomizer option generally. that shapes percussion, hihats, snares, so they sounds played by a real drummer with different tiny pitch, formant, and tone variations... From just a tiny bit to ultra berserk!

This is awesome. Volume Shaper already worked pretty well as an oscilloscope but this is cool we get a dedicated oscilloscope view that can be placed anywhere in the chain. Any way we could get some color options for the waveform? Especially ones like in DJ software where dark reds might be deep bass while light blues might be all the way the top like hi hats. That way you can sense both time and frequency content in the waveform to quickly identify different elements in the mix (this is more useful when looking at the entire master on the oscilloscope). I hope a more complex reverb/delay effect will come with Shaperbox 4 and the ability to automate with a right click the effect volume or master volume directly on Ableton and in FL +randomization! For now Shaperbox 3 is a little too external
Make a sampler please, we need a sampler can change the sample whatever we want, change the key , stretch the time ，shape the wave，and find sample more easy, today's sampler is not good , have limits ability

shaperbox getting better day by day. what a nice handy feature addition! best in this category! please, i requested earlier as well, badly need a reverb module. would be a game changer for this toolbox, specially for sound design
It is so amazing to see so much care and effort put into enhancing an already great plugin! I have some more tips for future updates: - Hovering your cursor over the waveform tells you the amplitude in dB (eg. -6.2dB) - A spectrum view that highlights the waveform based on frequency like in Serato for DJs. Usually it's red for bass frequencies and yellow/blue for higher frequencies. SUPER useful to observe transients! - Being able to select a box (like in other modules) over the waveform to quickly zoom into that part. Possibly a button to easily zoom out again. Fingers crossed to see some of these features in the future! Thank you
By far my favorite oscilloscope. Would be great, if this could be a stand-alone app so you can use it like VISION 4X on a separate monitor. Think it will do good on the market!
Awesome plug-in. Please can you make it so you can have an instance on multiple tracks, and then see them all together (much like the one from Schultz). Maybe a spectrum analyser too, similar to what they do. So useful when mixing.
Has replaced Ozillos Megascope over the year :-) I like that with the addition scope, compressor and reverb I can use ShaperBox 3 as a placeholder mixing plugin in all channels. Enough limits not to go paralysis, and enough features to get the job done. The only non-existing feature that I would love would be a loop shaper, which would sample and freeze incoming the incoming audio to the length. I'd guess this is already done internally given time shaper etc. Probably the biggest challenge implementing such feature is actually how to store the audio in the preset file and not the plugin feature per se, so sort of get why it does not exist so far. ShapareBox is these days pretty good tool for chopping drum loops so that would sort of add in to the workflow.
Seeing this makes me remember, we definitely need multiple usage per effect per shaper box instance. If I want to build a chain where I initially trim the incoming audio, I cant add a sidechain volume control at the end of the chain anymore. We just need to be able to use all effects more than once per chain.
hello guys, i'm a logic user (love the workflow) and i've been trying' to find a good oscilloscope where i wouldn't need to manually adjust delay compensation value. a nice person from discord suggested me to try shaperbox 3, but, unfortunately it has the same issue as others, at the same time not even providing an option to manually compensate... It just doesn't pass in my mind, if plugins are all aware of delays in the chains, why aren't they able to sync oscilloscope properly to the beat?
A vectorscope next perhaps? 🙂 Edit: and a spectrum analyzer, if you guys want to be totally comprehensive. You could even let us view all three at once!
@@Cableguys I wouldn't mind a big spectrum analyzer for a detailed look at the frequency spectrum, but I'd be perfectly happy with a vectorscope. I'm already quite happy with the oscilloscope, too 😉
Wish the oscilloscope had a delay compensation feature, so if you put it in line after a plugin with lots of latency you could adjust it so it would still show the downbeat on the 1. The free OccularScope plugin has this feature.

I just checked - server traffic and CPU usage look all fine. Are you having issues with the full version download or with syncing presets? And should issues persist, could you mail us to contact@cableguys.com - thanks!
@@Cableguys I did mail you today after multiple attempts at downloads failed. It took 3 attempts to even download Kickstart 2, but SB3 fails everytime near the end of the download. I even tried via a uk vpn incase my 4g was switching IP’s and causing it mid download
Dude, how do you get the sidechain panel at 1:39? I have Shaperbox 3 but i have to route channels into shaperbox manually which is a pain, I don't seem to have that sidechain panel, only the "configure" button on the dropdown, what am I missing?
Is it because i am using Ableton 10? I have the Shaperbox 3 demo and want to buy it but i really want to figure out where this sidechain panel is first lol

My favorite plugin gets even better! I've used a bunch of old VST scope plugins in the past to do this very workflow with the sidechain input.

It would be helpful if the midi pitch mode would let you to view more than just one cycle, in fact a selectable multiple would be ideal.
